Re: Week 13 Discussion
We've heard all about OSU's athletes and option game but it was OSU's officiating game that was just too strong for the Wolverines. All the Wolverine miscues aside, that's a fact.
An officiating tragedy.
OSU called for 2 penalties and 6 penalty yard despite 2-3 CLEAR PI calls. Stranger than fiction.
As my high school coach said, "Never let the game be in a position where an error by a ref can cost you."
Michigan had their chances to put the game away and didn't. Blaming the refs just screams of being a sore loser.

Sure hope OSU doesn't get into the playoff if PSU wins. Certainly not one of the best 4 teams in the country.Comment

Re: Week 13 Discussion
I know I'm one of the few OSU fans left on here... to my Michigan bros, y'all should be very proud of this team. They played an incredible game and this was one for the history books.
Happy to see y'all back where you belong. Makes this rivalry matter like it should. And it also makes for a very satisfying win.
You can point to officiating all you want, but at the end of the day Michigan gift wrapped 14 points to us when we couldn't do anything offensively and then couldn't stop us down the stretch. That was the difference. Take away those 2 interceptions of Speight and Michigan wins this rather handidly in regulation, IMO.
Michigan is without a doubt one of the four best teams in the country, in my book.

OSU with obvious holding on crucial plays yet no flags. Seriously, 1 penalty for 1 yard for almost the whole game smh.Comment

Re: Week 13 Discussion
How do you figure? 11-1, Wins against #3, #6 (in double overtime on the road in Madison), #8 (by 3 TD's on the road), and #16 (62-3). Sure, it's not always pretty. But I think we are without a doubt one of the Top 4.Ohio State Buckeyes | Carolina Panthers | Charlotte Hornets | Cincinnati RedsComment

Re: Week 13 Discussion
For everyone with the blah blah blah, officiating didn't blah blah blah. Try re-watching the game. 2 penalties for 6 yards? In a game they get sacked 8 times? Not ONE holding penalty? Refs missed 2-4 PI calls, 2 of which were blatant. Not buying it and it turns into another OSU is just dominant narrative, which is nonsense.
Yes, the 3 Michigan turnovers gifting OSU 14 points obviously mattered. Of course the "look in the mirror" mistakes blah blah blah. But when it's such an even game and your drives are getting stopped and theirs are getting extended due to officiating, it became too much to overcome. When you have the literal 4th down stop in overtime to end the game and a bad spot ruins it, well? I mean c'mon.Chicago Cubs | Chicago Bulls | Green Bay Packers | Michigan WolverinesComment

Re: Week 13 Discussion
funny when alabama and lsu play close games and look like crap it's bc of how good the teams are but michigan and ohio st play like crap they suck. Michigan is now the best two loss team in the country and if clemson loses i think they deserve to still make it.Go Bucks!!Comment
