Which of these four former FSU quarterbacks would you say was the best? Marcus Outzen, Chris Rix, Wyatt Sexton, Drew Weatherford

Chris Rix was one of the best QBs for Miami.

I remember Weatherford because he was the QB my freshman year of high school, and I think was in a starting battle with Xavier Lee.

FSU QBs

Outzen hyped himself as The Rooster. The only reason he played in the 98/99 NC vs. Tennessee due to an injury to Weinke. Wyatt Sexton either quit or was kicked off the team after being arrested for lying naked in the street proclaiming he is god. He said it was due to lyme disease caused by a tick bite and not due to drugs. Rix wasn‘t allowed to play in the 2003 Sugar Bowl because he skipped his final exams.

This is like asking which disease I want to contract. Rix had the most productive career, but didn't he get replaced by Sexton his senior season? And Weatherford got replaced by Ponder his senior season.

I thought Rix lost his starting job to Adrian McPherson but then got it back when McPherson was arrested for check forgery.

Lesson of the day is to apparently not go to FSU.

On the plus side, I did learn that Weatherford's middle name is Skillern. So for teaching me something today, I owe the OP a thank you... I think.

You‘re welcome. That useful knowledge as well as a brush-up on mediocre FSU quarterbacks of the late 1990s/early-mid 2000s will serve you well later in life.
