Is Travis scared to run? I don't know if FSU will be able to keep up with FSU this game. I know the defense was having a disappointing fall camp, but the LB play has been bad. And I guess Norvell never taught discipline?

These aren’t pros (yet) and there’s no preseason like in the pros. Of course it’s going to be sloppy at times during the first week. This happens…every year.

Amazing job by Norvell. Looks like he’s turned this program around, when there were so many doubts if he was the guy (including me, who wanted to see Prime there). What a second half.

I know. That's why I asked who doesn't love week 1 football. It's sloppy half the time and teams often look completely different now than they will at the end of the year. It's always fun.

FSU looked better than I thought they would in the 2nd half. I'm not sure what was going on in the 1st half but they basically refused to run the ball. The defense also looked terrible and couldn't get lined up or were confused on the coverage.

The 2nd half was completely different. They ran the ball with 3 RBs, the OL looked better, and Travis was slinging it. I don't like Fuller but have to give him props for making adjustments at half to shut them down.

Norvell always seemed to be the right guy but the question was had he reached the ceiling. Looks like he has the team primed for this year.

Not sure why LSU had Harold Perkins playing Off-Ball LB most of the game. I get the thought of using him as a spy, but you're taking you're best pass Rusher out of the game with that gameplan. I legit thought he was hurt or ineligible in the first half or something lol.

I get that teams want their players to be more versatile. But sometimes, you just have to play guys to their strengths

Yeah, tough night for LSU.

They'll figure it out, and I still believe the LSU/Bama game will be for a spot in the conference championship.

Seems like the twin tower WR method is working for FSU. Wilson is 6'7" and he had 104 yards. Michigan St transfer Coleman is 6'4" and he had 122 yards with 3 tuddy's. FSU is a dark horse.

Anyone else not sold on Cade. He's been **** in my opinion.

Saw him play up close while he was in high school. I thought he was a good qb. But far from the 2nd coming of Trevor Lawrence. Reminded me more of Chase Daniel and it didn't help that they both played for the same coach, Todd Dodge. So great at the short and intermediate stuff, but meh on pushing the the ball down the field.

The jury for sure is still out on him. But he's got 6 minutes to get his team back in it.
