I've just played the demo for the first time today and must say that I am EXTREMLY impressed. The only bad thing was the high pass completion percentage but at varsity I'm kind of expecting that. Does anyone know why they aren't defaulting to the vision cone? I love this feature and using the default passing stinks, it feels so 90's.

Pretty good except i've really to see how good the running truly is. I havent been able to do much with it even though with 08 I was always a threat when running the ball. But this isn't 08 so..

Plus I thought it was kind of funny that the players on the sidelines were the actual football players during the mascot game.

That is good to hear. I haven't seen a whole lot of penalties called, a few pass interference calls and one or two hold on returns, but no facemasks yet.

I hate the fake snap in this game. There is no reason to have the camera jump like that in a single player game and really detracts from virtual reality I am trying to enjoy. It so distracting that I normally just snap the ball without using it.

The offensive moves don't matter that much to me although I liked the faster speed still of the PS2 version.
Yes! You are totally right. It is much harder to manually defend in this game.

I have actually seen some pretty cool TD celebrations.

Players jumping on each other, kneeling prayer, and a big group jumping around.

Then I just scored a TD and I had to run across the endzone to get to the mascot and I ran by one of my teammates.

Instead of running to the mascot, the 2 players jumped up and high fived each other. Then my players turned around and did the shirt pull thing on the front of his jersey.

Sounds good! Haven't seen that in the 18-20 games that I've played. I like the variety.

sometimes when i score and theres a defender nearby, I'll just run around him in a circle with the ball and taunt him.

It's on me. I shook his hand too hard. It was a hard ... kind of a slap-shake.

Adam, is there any chance that you could pass this on to who ever works with this part of the game. The D-Line has their wrong hand down when they get set. I'll post a picture of how its supposed to look.

I feel as if the ball carrier (no matter who it is) is much slower than everyone else on the football field.

Through the few times I played I got that feeling also.

Unless your ballcarrier is Trindon Holliday. That dude can fly! Then again, it was on a drag route. I somewhat understand what your saying though. Once the ballcarrier is in open space though...look out!

I felt that way a little bit with Wells, but not with LSU's RB. I could easily go off tackle and outrun most of OSU's players with him, including Laurinits.
