I just finished playing the demo for the first time and I thoroughly enjoyed the experience. For all of you guys who say that this year's game plays like 09, you may need to take more time with the demo. This game plays nothing like 09! This game is definitely slower than last years. I love all of the new animations, there is no robo qb, the secondary plays great tight defense, and the presentation felt much better. The only thing that stood out to me was the difficulty I had getting good pressure on tebow. However, I did have a coverage sack which was pretty nice to see. The pursuit angles are much better this year! Thank you so much EA!

I think every year we demand perfection and every year we have our hopes dashed because of the expectations we place for this game. Perfection is difficult to obtain. I personally do not expect this years game to be perfect; I don't think it ever will be. What I do expect from EA is progression toward perfection and if this years final product plays like the demo, I certainly will not be disappointed. With that being said, this will be a buy for me!

For those who are saying, "I didn't expect all of these positive reports", do not underestimate the power of "new" lol. A lot of guys play hard until the demo/game comes out and are all over it because of their passion for football and the hunger for something new. This fact is the reason exclusivity is working for EA.

The defensive ends run you down like a truck if you try to escape the pocket.

Stuff like this will really separate the men from the boys when it comes to establishing a passing game online.

I found another HUGE glitch.

I was scrambling with Tim Tebow and he got hit when he threw. Turns out he got injured and was out for the game. EA FIX THIS ASAP!

I was thinking the exact same thing. Its no different than release day impressions. If you really want to get an idea of what the community thinks on the demo or the game- wait about a week and read the impressions.

Haven't seen much of a ground game on AA, but I always need slider adjustments to get that going.

I'm happy to see the positive impressions here and on ncaastrategies. Sounds like the game plays much better in User vs AI or User vs User games. Ugh, so long before I can try the demo for myself.

True "Dr", like I said, I am not bashing because I thought I was done with Madden due to the lackluster games of previous years. The team's interaction made me back off of my hardened stance, but I am still not sure that I will be satisfied with the game this year. It all goes back to the hunger for new football lol.

I wonder when the NCAA team will address presentation, atmosphere, and celebrations.

Oh wait, they've been telling us it's improved and the best it's ever been...thanks to bands and mascots/cheerleaders!

At least the gameplay sounds bearable. Which is about as much as I can expect. Hopefully the sliders work decently enough.

Also I noticed the "curls" from madden 09 are in, and Rocket catch is still in the game
