About to fire it up. I played tons of 09 so I should know pretty quickly if I'm going to roll with 2010...

Is there a way to defend the over the shoulder catches?

I just swat the ball out of the WRs hand right when the ball gets there. seems to work for me. the wrap swats really help a lot(although some of the animations for them look weird).

Ugh. With each play of the demo I find myself losing faith more and more. I feel almost useless on defense.

Absolutely NO momentum involved in running. Watching a guy turn left, right, left, right, without planting or losing any kind of speed makes wanna me puke.

I think I'm going to go play All Pro.

I feel you bro. I havent been confident in tackling in the open field since the past gen NCAA games. Especially on screen plays. Even when you do call the right D sometimes it won't matter. I had a play where TE 18 on Oklahoma caught a nice sideline pass for about 6 yards. He then without losing any momentum or speed cut UP the field and trucked and stiffed armed two defenders and ran for a touchdown.

The game seemed solid...but very boring.

That's the same thing I said. I honestly don't see how anyone can view as a major upgrade over 09, most of the same major issues still exist from last year and not much seems to have changed. I think once most people play the game more and the "honeymoon" period wears off then opinions will change. I know that other people are enjoying this game, but I personally was very let down and disappointed...

Was the game a turnover fest? Im guessing it was but if it wasn't Did you get a consistent effective pass rush?

Yeah he does. I noticed this when I picked Florida. I was overthrowing on slant routes and also on a couple lobs were overthrown.

Yeah, I saw this as well.. I tried running it on 4th and 3.. needless to say, i didn't make it, but i liked that it did that now. I never thought about how to stop it though.. anyone able to stop the sneak for a yard?

The couple times I ran it the defense stayed in a 4-3 so there was a huge hole to dive through. However, the second time I ran it I hit the back of my center and bounced off before diving, but still managed the 1st down. I'd imagine if you ran it against a goalline defense that was pinching, you might just dive into the back of your Oline and go down behind the 1st down marker. Lame, but at least now it's not unstoppable.

If your going make a game with the same graphics, player models, and equipment the gameplay and animation should be outstanding from last year and its not.

ok playing on ps3 these are 2 glitches in my first game

did not see these on 360 so if someone did then please post

2 times the center snapped the ball over my qb's head and it fell about 10 yards behind my qb and the play was blown dead as incomplete when it should be a fumble

happened twice on the drive

the other glitch is the cpu calling back to back time outs to freeze my kicker...not sure abou this but i thought you could not call back to back time outs without a play happening...

by the way...the game looks horribe on ps3...dont look perfect on 360 either but it is worst on ps3

If you want to say "Pressure is fine" please specify if you are referring to LB pressure or DL pressure. If the CPU blitzes obviously pressure will be better. The problem is the DL is not penetrating, if there's no blitz I can throw a 55 yard bomb on any play I want. Or I can just sit back in the pocket for 6 seconds, pick my nose and scan the field until I see the open receiver. Online is simply going to be high scoring unless this gets fixed.
