Are you freaking serious? They didn't fix this? The only version I can get is the PS3 one and I'm 95% sure I won't bother. Things like this may seem trivial but they accumulate and just smash any chance of real immersion. 09 was the first time I had played NCAA Football (I'm from Australia, its not released here) and I was bored and disillusioned within a month. Its sad because obviously veterans of this series hold past versions in very high regard.

Re: NCAA Football 10 Demo Now Available, Post Your Impressions Here
Just saw a glitch where the CPU snapped the ball over Bradford's head and it was an incomplete pass?? This has now happened twice.
--Hate the new Coach Cam, I think it's too high up
--I feel like the cameras just move too much, gotta get used to that
--Action cam tilted so I couldn't see my outside WR screen on one play.
--Why is the OU kicker wearing gray sleeves??
-- I think Riley Cooper's half sleeves are gray instead of white too
--I love what they did with Florida's playbook--lots of cool plays that they actually run. Just wish the run blocking worked a bit better.
--Also just wish they would put the same time into other team's playbooks. I think only Florida and the Wishbone had major updates.
--With player lock On, I was the DE and Tebow ran right past me while I got sucked in with the OLineman.
--Clock still runs when guys run out of bounds, but it stops on first downs and STAYS stopped even after the ball is set.

Anyone else try running Dime - Man Press and bump the receivers? Tebow throws it so quick it either hits the back of a wr or isn't anywhere near a Fla wr. I ran this same play over and over and Tebow/Fla had no answer for it. Kind of sad.
I actually like this gameplay a tad more, but the above situation really sucks and I hope it's not that easy to stop the cpu in the retail game.Comment

Re: NCAA Football 10 Demo Now Available, Post Your Impressions Here
I have posted regarding a few times regarding the same issues with the demo as previously mentioned:
1. My biggest concern as of right now is the snap that goes over the quarterbacks head, and is then ruled an incompletion. That needs an immediate FIX. That more than anything will effect the outcome of games. Imagine playing in an online league, and that occurring on a crucial 4th down - I would be furious.
2. 2nd, concern with the graphics, does anyone think that may be because they are playing the game in a vast NFL stadium. I did not enjoy the graphic playing at Joe Robbie Stadium (I have no idea what it is called now) last year.Comment

I'm sure it's been mentioned, but this game allows you to call timeouts back to back.
Also if the opponent is punting to you, your punt returner will still line up to catch it inside your 5 and in the endzone, where in the past they would run forward to just let it bounce in for a touchback. You've got to run out yourself if you don't want to catch it.Comment

Seen the snap over the head glitch in every game I have played so far. At least 8. How can something like this pass quality control? Or is it simply cause its a demo?
THIS DEMO NEEDS A PATCH!!!I drink to make other people interesting.Comment

Re: NCAA Football 10 Demo Now Available, Post Your Impressions Here
Downloaded the demo last night and played 2 games. I just kinda sat there and shook my head at the game and longed for the day where we as consumers had a CHOICE on which game to get.
The OL/DL interaction is awful. Suction blocking is rampant, and this "pocket" is easy to scramble out of. I tried rolling and chucking to see if it was possible, and yup, i did it 90% of the time(i played on all-american one game and heisman the next).
The DL gets no pressure and it seemed like the only time i got pressure from the CPU was on a blitz.
Running animation and "twitch" cutbacks are a joke. They would look bad for a game on the genesis. There needs to be momentum and realistic turn radius. And for the love of god, get someone in there to mocap different run speeds.
Where the QB releases the ball on a deep throw looks bad on replays. It looks like he is releasing the ball for someone 5 yards in front of him, then all the sudden the ball shoots out at a 60 degree angle and 50 yards downfield.
There needs to be more varied tackles. I think i saw 3 all together.
There is alot more flaws i saw, but i dont want to write them.
BOTTOMLINE: This game is boring to play, unrealistic in just about every regard, Does not represent the atmosphere of a college game at all, Worth $10 as a Xbox live update, and has features out of the box broken already. Seriously, if there was another college football game out, this series would be in deep doo doo.Comment

Re: NCAA Football 10 Demo Now Available, Post Your Impressions Here
Just played demo for first time and I have a quick question about the playcalling screen. I like choosing plays under the "play type" option (ie: shotgun pass, counter, man zone, ect). In the past, it would show you on the play call screen the formation for each play, so I would know if the cover 2 I chose if under the 4-3 formation or nickel formation.
I can't seem to find this on this years playcalling screen, did they remove it? I know they have the personnel diagrammed at the top, but I liked being able to take a quick look and read the type of formation.

The demo is ok, I don't like the new camera angle, it's hard to follow the action. Plus, one other thing that may be minor but bothers me is the horrible crowd animations. For years it's the same generic crowd where everyone looks like they are jumping up and down. It looks terrible! I'm spoiled by The Show where the crowd, while not perfect, seems more lifelike.

I'm so glad to be saving my hard-earned money this year and not buying this mess. It's on me. I shook his hand too hard. It was a hard ... kind of a slap-shake.
