What does the purple gem on recruits mean? I've seen a couple times, but have no idea what effect it has.

If you add them to your list, they have interest in you.

I might buy 'em down the road, after patch #2 comes out.

I work 50 hours a week and I just don't have much time to devote to recruiting in my offline dynasty. Dynasty accelerators are good for people like me.

I don't understand why anyone would use these...doesn't matter your 3 star recruit will get to the upper 90's just as fast a 5 star recruit...furthermore recruiting has been virtually the same since NCAA 08; its way too easy to land recruits; esp. At this point I just target players I'd like to have and let the CPU do it, that way I'm not landing every single recruit I want.

But don't expect Recruit Advisor to help much on those, he usually alerts you WAY too late after other schools all but have the guy committed. Waste of time to chase the guy then. Poor implementation.

Not always true. I usually hit about 70% of them without offers, and I've never seen one with more than 2 offers when he does say it.

I don't know anyone that bought these, for obvious reasons, but I DO know some people have bought them. I'm just wondering, for those that bought them, why did you buy them, which ones did you buy, and do you think they were worth it? I'm just curious because I just can't understand why anyone would ever buy these.

If you post in this thread please keep it respectable. I did no make this thread to flame people that bought accelerators. I was just wondering why anyone would buy them.

i did, bought the recruiting advisor, and 1 other i can't remember off the top of my head.

Nah he's serious, I think they should charge $25 for dynasty and all the extras. Think about how awesome they could make it. They could add formation subs and refs on the field as the premium content. More stuff like a gameday crew predicting the games and corso putting on the mascot mask. Servers that would record the correct scores of the games. The game would be awesome.

When you put it like that I'd gladly pay 25.00 for it, BUT only if the game without all of that stuff is no more than 40.00. No way will I pay 85.00 for a game with all of the features. I'd shoot myself before I pay 25.00 for what we have now.
