Re: NCAA Football 11 Takes Dynasty to the Web (ESPN Videogames)

Man they really thought this through. I would rather do recruiting and whatnot from a computer rather than do it from console (that's just me). This will probably make me play the game that much longer.

What would be even cooler though unlikely is merging this dynasty into next years game. which wouldnt work due to probably the addition of new attributes.

Good job EA. Now I will only be buying NCAA 2011 instead of nothing from EA
I doubted you Roy Williams since you only won with a someone else's team... Now you have proven me wrong.

    You have earned my respect.

that'll make it pointless though, as you'll lose all the coaching/dynasty history.

The more I think about this, the more insanely awesome it is. Being married with a two year old really digs into your game time. I figured I'd probably be doing auto recruiting because I much rather spend me limited time on the field.

But now I can recruit while my wife's watching all her television shows

Edit: In the past EA's website/game tie in has crashed due to too much traffic. Remember when they introduced Gameface to Tiger Woods? The site was inaccessible for hours at a time due to so many users. I hope EA has this sorted out for NCAA.
Yea, this was my concern too. I remember when the server didn't work when they added the photos/videos online. It was a pain.

I have to say that this could be the best feature ever in a sports game. Now if they tell us next week at E3 that they put in Coaching Carousel and AD mode I'll just have to quit my job and lock myself away for the summer.

Haha. I wrote a blog about ways you can use web dynasties to avoid or enhance other activities. My number 1 activity is :

              1. The Costanza: Use your cell to set up your non-conference schedule while you "multi-task" in bed with your significant other. Spicy mustard is recommended.

This is an epic Feature!! Normally features divide offline and online gamers. This is actually a feature all can enjoy. If done right this feature will set the bar high for other sports games.

oh yes, I think it is about time for me to find a competitive online dynasty to play in. So excited to play online this year. Hopefully I can find a good OD

This is a such a great feature. I'm ready for Christmas in July (needed reason to use the Santa)

                            As an online commissioner....

I "heart" these new additions. Getting 12 guys through an offseason of recruiting is going to be muuuuuuuuuuch easier.

And...the email alerts will be used extensively.

Awesome additions all the way around this year.

                            Big applause for EA.

Honestly, this could be the biggest thing to ever happen to replayabilty in a sports game. I'm stoked beyond belief right now.
What? The ability to publish postgame stories/narratives? That was around back in 2004. A little game called 2k5. If it's anything like that, I'm definitely picking it up. I also want my Sports Illustrated Magazine covers back!!! (or ESPN). They were so random.
