As said many times before, the demo was not the final build. It seems as though some of you have failed to read the huge list of fixes made from the demo to retail.Boston Red Sox

Re: NCAA Football 11 Demo Available Now, Post Your Impressions Here
Let me preface this by saying that I got so frustrated with Madden 10 that I didn't plan on buying any EA footall game this year.
I didn't expect to like NCAA and downloaded it pretty much just to see. I have to admit that it has been really fun to play. The running game feels so much better. Holes open up, you can actually follow a pulling guard and pick your lane to go through the line quite nicely!
I've still seen instances of the "same old" problems creep in here and there. EA hockey has that too but the difference has been for me that the issues with hockey don't keep it from being fun because there are so many good aspects to the game.
If this is any indication of how Madden will be then I guess I'm a buyer again. Here's hoping I can go back to playing a football game - I really missed playing a good football game.Comment

After playing the demo for the last week or so, I put in ncaa 10 and WOW...what a difference. 10 played so fast compared to the demo, it was like watching a pin-ball game. You have so much more control on the demo and everything just feels so more realistic. Good job EA, I am now more excited than ever. These next couple of weeks are gonna suck!Comment

Yes GatorFan, I feel the same way. Running is too easy. I did the same and played on Heisman and it was just as easy as All-American. I'm glad they have improved the running game over the last few years, but it looks like I will be adjusting my sliders this year to make running harder rather than easier.
One problem I still have with the running game is Counter out of the gun. The O-Line does not even account for the backside DE against most fronts and he disrupts the play almost every time. This would not be a problem if they gave the QB a read option and he had the ability to pull the ball, but the other problem with that is that the counter play on the game is run on the same side as the RB (in other words, the QB has his back to the backside DE so he is not in a position to make a read on that DE).Comment

played this last night... decided to roll with varsity level at first. like some things, but felt too easy (obviously slider tweaks will be in order - used PlayMaker's last year on this level and will no doubt again this year).
I like the running game - but still too easy - BIG holes open. Passing game is too easy as well, as players separate MUCH too well from the defender (I saw a few instances where a crossing pattern WR gained a 5-7 yard separation - just doesn't happen).
But I believe it's an improvement from previous years...STEELERS INDIANS CELTICS

The passing still seems off...the pass travels to fast and with very little arch...QB still has way too much time to throw (on average). I don't see or feel the "locomotion"...still don't really know what that is. Feels the same as last year for the most part.Comment

After a couple days of not playing due to work, I fired it up again last night.
Besides the great gameplay, what I'm really digging is the uniform accessories:
Leg braces, chest protectors,(Whatever they're called), etc.
Some of the replays looked so real. Player models look outstanding.
Crowd chants. Crowd noise. Everything about the atmosphere is great!
I can't wait to get the full version. Skipping Madden due to this! Kudos, EA!Comment

About the fumbles the Right Bumper (RB button) should be your best friend this year; practice using it. Now with locomotion you have to react to the defender a little bit sooner, but it also depends on the back. I have had some beautiful runs, just a couple of fumbles, and the demo has been lots of fun.Comment

Only bad thing about the demo so far is that I don't want to play 2010 ever again....lol.Comment
