Auto Turbo is quite possibly the greatest idea to hit a football game in some time. Even on the demo it really makes the game feel "sim", and frees up the part of my brain that said "spam turbo", to react on the sticks and hit holes more efficiently.Christian McLeod--EA Sports NBA Live/Madden NFL Producer

I didn't see it much but i did see some animations that looked really odd...
I think if the game includes a game speed slider like in Madden it'll move and render the best animations on slow speedNCAA FOOTBALL 14 ALUMNI LEGENDS CPU vs CPU DYNASTY THREAD

I haven't heard about this... Is it also an option in Madden? Someone told me they(Madden and NCAA) took away the turbo button entirely?Dallas CowboysSan Antonio SpursTexas RangersBaylor Bears Iowa Hawkeyes Texas LonghornsComment

Re: NCAA Football 11 Demo Available Now, Post Your Impressions Here
My impressions are fairly similar to what everyone else is saying. I've been so frustrated by the next gen versions that I went and bought PS2 07 and have been playing that. I tell ya, the graphic upgrade from the PS2 to this demo is mind blowing.
I thought I'd add my take on the presentation. Yes, it looks cool and is a nice addition, but I end up skipping over the pre-game stuff after a while. The presentation improvements I'd like to see are in-game: Better touchdown celebrations, better big hit celebrations, and a scaled celebration system. When I'm playing San Jose State, I'd like to see my guys stay reserved, but when it's a bowl game or a rivalry game, I want them to be fired up after big plays.
I was set against buying this year for the first time, but the demo is promising. I like the slower play, the locomotion, the blocking. For the retail version, I'm waiting to hear about recruiting logic by the CPU, what do turnovers and sacks look like in-game, and the CPU logic in key situations (end of game scenarios).Comment

I saw a weird animation where the opposing QB threw over the middle and when I went to intercept, my LB simply slid over into place. I agree that slower game speed may make better animations, I posted earlier about how I thought it would run smoother. I still see this as a little bug that will probably get erased.Originally posted by TDTGodfatherbut it's a video game, so it's not destroying my world or anything...Comment

I agree with the looking past thing, though. If you enjoy it, that's fantastic. But those that can't enjoy it are not looking for perfection. They want to see the game play a certain way where these players can say they are in control and are winning or losing based on their skills. Not by warping players, uber-agile/cut at 90° angle animations and so on.Comment

Re: NCAA Football 11 Demo Available Now, Post Your Impressions Here
I've only played 3 games. I started the first on varsity since I havent played NCAA since last OCtober.
First game I won 24-0 with FL against FSU...basically a waste of game since it was on varsity, no challenge at all.
Bumped it up to All American for the next 2.
I won 7-0 with Miami @ OSU, really 14-0 but dumb QB sneak failed 3 times from the one foot line and time ran out at the end of the game.
I won 3-0 with TExas against OU...my favorite game by far. The first play of the 4th, OU finally gets something going on offense, their WR bumps off an attempted arm tackle from my player and is streaking inside the ten and at the 5 yard line...my safety blind side hits him from the left and boom...fumble! I recover the fumble at the 5 and go like 90 yards to hit a chippy field goal to win it. This after Texas's QB and I had thrown 3 INT...nice redemption drive for him.
That said, I'm having fun...but uh...CPU...you can score too you know? I know I'm not this good on All American, must just be the short quarters and the teams I'm playing with. I'm gonna try the Missouri vs Clemson match up and hope that sees some more scoring in it.Comment

Re: NCAA Football 11 Demo Available Now, Post Your Impressions Here
played the demo for a while yesterday...didn't like it to much.
the player movement really put me off. it reminds me of how players moved back on the genesis.
time warping to catch the ball is still lingering around.
lack of gang tackling....i just don't understand how this gets left out.
....with that said there will be some fun to be had with the game.Comment

Well if you prefer the bonehead AI of backbreaker over a dull crowd, be my guest. Backbreaker is visually appealing, but it's complete failure in most other ways.Comment
