After 2014, its really hard to figure out what to do because you really have no idea what is going to happen. Does anyone have any advice on when I move Oklahoma and Oklahoma state into the ACC. Should I put them in the same Division, or move a team from one division to the other!? Which team!? Same question, just with Texas and Texas Tech in the SEC.

Location wise it makes more sense to keep them together, but even if you separate them, that is what protected rivalries are as long as you keep the conferences at 12/14/16 teams.

By the 2013 season, the Big 12 Conference will be looking like this:

Thats pretty bad. Its not even close enough for that conference to get a Bowl Tie in. Do you think having 5 instead of six Bowl Tie-in's is silly!?

Actually, the Big 12 has 7 tie-ins and as one contingency bid I believe. However, since your conference is only 6 teams, it is highly unlikely all of them are bowl eligible. I'm hoping that, with the way I set up my classic conferences, the smaller the conference, the fewer teams that will get eligible due to FCS games and competition in general. This then allows more at large bids which definitely makes it more interesting. I'm hoping the bowl selection process isn't broken and starts letting in 5 win teams unless they are A) conference champions, or B) there aren't enough eligible teams. If all 35 bowl games aren't in, that helps, because the video game seems to schedule fewer FCS games which is that keeps .500+ teams in bowl games.

Drain the WAC, and place most of the teams in MWC, and leave TCU and BYU in the MWC. I will make MWC as AQ league. I will basically leave the two conferences in as they are. I will leave Idaho, New Mexico S, San Jose and Utah State.

Or you could keep the name of the conference WAC but make it a whole new conference. Like, it would say WAC, but you knew it was something else. Or it could still be called the WAC, but it's a brand-new conference.

After 2014, you can base what you do off of how teams do. I'm planning on recording all records of every team on my iPod then transferring them to my computer so that I can see which teams are rising and falling and make decisions based on that.

In light of the newest news, outside of my historical lineups, I think I will give OSU the death penalty. Take them out, bring up Villanova to the Big East. I think that would be a nice setup. Big Ten loses their title game too in that scenario.

Thats what I plan on doing as well. My setup for who goes where is really based off of conference champions, divison champs, etc. The only reason I am moving Texas, Texas Tech, Oklahoma, and Oklahoma State without knowing if they're doing well or not is because, they are all pretty prestigous programs and will usually always be competitive. I might move BYU and a champion from the MWC. That allows them to regain the Bowl Tie in.

Since we have to have at least 1 team in the independents and you can not dissolve a conference, it took some time for me to figure out how I am going to situate the conferences, but I have finally finished. I regionalized all the teams regardless of how big the school is.

I counted 119 teams if he numbered them correctly. Navy makes 120.

I am going to go wild with this. Creating fantasy conferences has always been a dream. I'm prolly more excited about this than coaching carousel.

I'll have one realistic dynasty going. But I will also create a fantasy dynasty where i'll move Miami, FSU, Clemson, and another southern school to the SEC and put Notre Dame in the Big 10. I'll sit down and map what other changes I want to do.

With all of this customization, I'm holding off that we might be able to have a playoff system. That would seriously put this game over the top. Either way, I'm happy.

Im going to do a Fantasy conference setup as well, but instead of doing it from the very start, im doing something A little more interesting. I am making a couple changes per year from 2011 to 2014, then taking a break for either 4 to 6 years (until I get bored pretty much) then making several changes. I really wish we could get rid of the WAC and just add the teams to the MWC

Awesome. That should add a lot of variety in later seasons in your dynasty when you start to get bored. I'll probably end up changing the conferences every 3 years or something

Yeah they confirmed that the old conference invite system is gone and that we will be able to change it at the end of each season if we want. Its gonna be so nice now! I wont have to create a coach for another team to try to get them in a new conference! I have my conferences mapped out and I already have some changes thought up for later seasons if the teams do well. Im really excited. I wish we could eliminate conferences tho... I really wanted to make 10 conferences with 12 teams each!

Since I forgot Maryland, I wanted all conferences to have 9/12/14/16 teams so scheduling can be easy and structured. No odd number of games in conference, so I redid the ACC/Big East. I put Maryland in the ACC, and moved Navy from the Big East to the ACC, so the Big East has 9 teams and ACC has 16 teams.
