Yes you can add teams but in order to add teams to a conference, they have to be one of the 120 teams in the NCAA and were in a conference already. You cannot add Teambuilder teams teams into the league.Comment

You can add teambuilder teams, but they have to replace NCAA teams. It is fixed at 120 but the 120 do not have to be the current FBS teams.Comment

Again i know how it works in real life. im talking in game. My goal was to close the bcs.
just like using all at large bids it could have worked the same way the cpu ranks for an all open at large bid dynasty. it could apply those rankings to the ten let in the bcs, and seed them from there.
The way i describe would not change the championship game ever. last year if it was all con champs.
Boise would have replaced stanford and the MAC champ replaces bama and MWC champ replaces Mich st. but the two highest rated conf champs would still be Auburn and Oregon by bcs computers.
i will just give the lower 8 confs aq status and SEC and big 12 would be non AQ, but 99 times out of 100 the champs of those confs will get a bcs bid and it will achieve the same thing.Madden 17

Re: So now that Custom Conferences are in what changes will you make?
This is a repost from the other thread:
I came up with a conference system similar to the leagues in Europe. The champion of the leagues in the bottom group moves up and takes the place of the last place team in the 2nd group, and the same for the 2nd/1st group.
1st group has 12 teams, 2nd 10 teams, 3rd 8 teams. Mostly arranged by geography:
Spoiler
Note: Vincennes and IUPUI are team builder teams, both located in Indiana.Comment

I like keep it realistic and all, but I'll probably make a few changes to my liking. Really haven't decided yet since the game doesn't come out for a while.
Off the top of my head, moving Notre Dame into Big Ten and take out Northwestern and move them into the Independents. But that's all right nowComment

Re: So now that Custom Conferences are in what changes will you make?
Wait a second, I've been reading through the thread and have seen that you are allowed to change conferences during your dynasty. I didn't hear that news yet.
That's def. cool if true, because like I said, I don't really want to mess with any of the conferences that much unless I see fit(like a team dominating in a small conference or just changes I would like to make in the future)Comment

Re: So now that Custom Conferences are in what changes will you make?
I've got big plans for the conferences...since I can't adjust the limit of 120 FBS teams, and since I can't delete any conferences, I've come up with the most balanced system for my liking.
All six BCS conferences will be 12-team conferences, with two divisions of six teams each, and a conference championship. The five non-BCS conferences will be 9-team conferences where every teams plays each other to crown a conference champ. The three military schools will be independent.
So excited, can't wait. Here's my latest rough draft of the re-alignment for those interested. For the sake of balance on the west coast, I plan on replacing Akron, Eastern Michigan, and Temple with Eastern Washington, Cal Poly, and Montana.
Code:WESTERN ALIGNMENT Pac 12 North South Washington USC Oregon UCLA Oregon St. Arizona Boise St. Arizona St. Cal Utah Stanford BYU Mountain West Colorado Colorado St. UNLV Nevada Washington St. UTEP Fresno St. Wyoming Eastern Washington WAC Hawaii San Jose St. San Diego St. New Mexico New Mexico St. Idaho Utah St. Cal Poly Montana ------------------------------------------------- SOUTHERN ALIGNMENT Big XII North South Oklahoma Texas Oklahoma St. Texas Tech Tulsa Texas A&M Arkansas Baylor Kansas Houston Kansas St. TCU SEC West East LSU Florida Ole Miss Florida St. Mississippi St. USF Vanderbilt UCF Alabama Georgia Auburn Georgia Tech Sun Belt Rice SMU North Texas La. Re: So now that Custom Conferences are in what changes will you make?
I don't think I should have the power or right to mess with other teams, and conferences besides the team you are playing with. Maybe create a system where other teams can vote with you for changes, but its not something you should be able to do unilaterally other then moving your team.
So I will probably move my team Oklahoma to the SEC, and that will be it. Don't think it is the best interest of the Sooners to stay in a weaken Big 12, and don't think I should have the right or power to add teams to the Big 12 or change conference rules even though the game technically gives me that power.
So I will probably move by Sooners to the SEC West, and that will be it.Comment

Re: So now that Custom Conferences are in what changes will you make?
But in real life, there is no way Oklahoma State stays behind if OU goes. It's going to be a package deal. Have some fun with it instead of thinking you are messing with free will because teams won't move at all in the game unless you do it,Comment
