heres the thing, they are doing the right thing and now its different from 06 and on. Prior they werent doing anything at all and **** after **** game. Now they are making MASSIVE STRIDES forward, too bad that the time it takes for those strides is like 10 years, if 2k competed, it would be like 3

That being said... I won't be trying to get this game early at all. The disaster that was last year's launch has permanently scarred me.

Why should I try to get a game early when it won't be completely playable until 3 months after launch?

EA please listen to this guy....

There are a lot of hardcore NCAA fans who have become fed up with the half azzz approach to fix issues with the gameplay year after year.

NCAA 12 despite all it's eye candy was a joke on the field when it came to gameplay.

Year after year the Option attack by the CPU is broken, QB Scrambling logic broken and RB open field logic broken.

Please for once focus on gameplay EA.............

Agree. It seems like last year was the "Year of the Glitches". Most of the sports games last year had glitches that mades parts/the entire game unplayable for a extended period of time.
The main thing I want for NCAA 13 is it to be playable from day 1. If I am waiting to play it after I bought it, I want it to be because I am waiting for a Roster. I know there will be some bugs that will slip through the cracks or cannot be fixed without pushing back launch date, but I dont want it to be a bug that makes me not want to play the game. There are bugs that I could overlook because it isnt a big deal. For example, in NBA 2k I am able to overlook record glitch because it isnt a big deal. But, the Draft glitch in MP and teammate AI makes it almost unplayable after year 3.

Re: NCAA Football 13 Features New Passing System, Enhanced Commentary and More

I love college football and I played NCAA to death on my big ole Xbox and i even managed to enjoy 11 and somewhat 12 on this gen. I'll admit I'm not a real hardcore sim guy like some of you are, but the passing system is certainly the biggest flaw. Madden 12's passing and passing defense is a major improvement, psychic DBs and super LBs are almost nonexistent and the qb can actually throw OVER people (gasp!). Give us that system and continue to evolve and grow the existing features (for gods sake open up teambuilder) and 13 has the potential to be pretty good.

Oh and fix the facemask fit on the newer Revo Speed helmets. That's just sloppy

            - University of North Texas

            My teams:
NFL - Minnesota Vikings, Arizona Cardinals
NCAAF/B - Arizona Wildcats, Northern Arizona Lumberjacks, North Texas Mean Green

I find it amusing that the OS icon for NAU is 20 years (and three rebrands!) out of date.

Re: NCAA Football 13 Features New Passing System, Enhanced Commentary and More

You know what I would like from NCAA, for the game to work properly.

Not even bugs or glitches, how about basic stuff like Dynasty being playable five-ten years down the road? Proper recruiting ratios (IE not having a million WR but almost no SS) How about running out of shotgun or option attack working? How about some semblance of real special teams play? How about a field that isn't tiny? How about a football that isn't oversized? How about a AI that doesn't cheat? How about throwing in penalties like pass interference, defensive holding, late hits, illegal man in motion, etc? How about plays that aren't cheesy and can be stopped if you call the right defense? How about some basic WR-DB interactions? How about use of momentum and weight? I could go on.

Fix these things, and the game could be good, heck legendary even. But they wont, because its not flashy and cant be put in the back of the box, and forever and ever we will keep running in circles till we get some damn competition in the football video game market.

              Makes me mad.

I don't want to come off like d!ck but if ea brought the game to pc we would have a lot if not all of that in game just from the MOD community, the Beautiful, beautiful, MOD community.

I'm so tired of people pointing the finger at each other blaming ourselves for why we don't get a better game. Lets cut that out.

Hmmm... a pretty game that plays like crap or a less pretty game that plays realistic... tough call..

I skip all of the cut scenes before the game, during the game, and after the game. I really could care less. The only things that are important to me (and many others by the looks of it) are game play and team management (i.e., recruiting, depth charts, custom playbooks).

Being a member on the forums for years now, its funny how much peoples opinions have changed. I swear back when there was madden 09 and 10, the only thing you read on these forums were people complaining about presentation (myself included), now its mostly about gameplay (which I think should be the focus now).

Personally I think they need to just make the game fun and enjoyable to play. I've learned presentation is something EA struggles with (or maybe just doesn't really care to get it right). Add all the cut scenes you want, but for me they are very "disconnecting" from the experience. Other games have real-time presentation, and that is what EA should be trying to incorporate, however i don't think we will see that this gen.

hell yea...gimme a game with less quality graphics and more quality and realistic gameplay any time. theres a reason i completed a season on madden 07 ps2 in 2011 when i have a 360 and a ps3 and had ncaa 11...GAMEPLAY and depth of franchise mode. graphics are fine at this point. we got good lighting and even dirt kicking up and 3d grass(somewhat). thats enough....gameplay and animation variety, bug fixes and better testing, and depth of modes, and commentary only from hear on out IMO.
