Does anyone have any more updates on this annoying glitch? We have a couple of new guys in our dynasty experiencing this glitch.

We are going to try a couple of things mentioned in this thread but if anyone has any updates about this issue, it would greatly appreciated.

I wish I had an answer for you man.

The worst part is there are leagues on here who restarted after the patch, thinking it was fixed in the patch, who got to season 2 and had new guys join only to find that the glitch STILL EXISTS.

Unacceptable.

I still check on here from time to time hoping someone has a miracle fix. I thought if a guy took over a team that was never controlled by a user it would be OK, that theory was debunked though.

Unfortunately, our OD doesn't let you take over an existing coach, I think we turned that off when we started back in July, but I think that might be an answer. If your league lets you take existing coach try that and see if they get XP.

My other theory is that the glitch will correct itself as soon as the user is offered a new contract in CC. We are gonna hope to test that in our next off-season CC phase.

If nothing works, there is only one thing you can do.

You have to adjust the starting coach level right before you advance, so go into settings, set the level, then advance right away, boot the user and have them rejoin. They will get the lvl and be able to assign those skill points but they wont get XP so you just have to set manual times you feel the league or the users with the glitch should get an XP boost to keep up and just re-do this process everytime.

Ugh, I didn't even think about that. We are in slowest progression so league high is only 12 at the moment, what a nightmare tho down the road.

The post a few posts up that basically said to just rejoin until it works, did anyone try that? If the commish and a new user stay online together and keep booting/reinviting will it eventually work?

This really sucks. We have three new users and all of them are suffering with this glitch.

I just got one of our users to do the following:

1. Retire
2. Delete the dynasty data
3. I advanced while trying to change the coach starting level (which reset itself back to "default" EVERYTIME I tried to change it)
4. I invited him back in after advancing

He's back in and his XP says 418/640. He isn't sure what it said before so I don't know if that is a good sign because he has a bye week this week. But I'll report back and let everyone know what is up.

I think that means he's getting xp......doesn't it show 0/0 if it's glitched?

Did he play a game that week before retiring, was he on a bye, was game simmed, did he take over a team that was previously controlled by a user?

Just a heads up...Thought I had it figured out, but received XP for only two weeks. Now my XP is stuck on 120/640 or something like that. Now every head to head game I play, my opponent has higher skills than me. Very frustrating.

He played a game but when he retired and I advanced it got thrown out and simmed

When he first joined he took over as a school that nobody has been at.

So you beat the glitch for two weeks, then randomly stopped receiving XP????

Wow.

So really there is no fix. Unless my idea about accepting a new contract works, which I haven't tested yet.

So. We know what doesn't work.

1. Restarting (Mythical Patch)
2. Using Existing Coaches
3. Retiring and Re-Joining
4. Retire, rejoin, and advance.
5. About everything.


Keep hoping for a patch...........

I haven't booted up my Xbox in at least a month, maybe two. Sucks when I can't do what I paid $85 to do ($60 + $5 tax + $20 Power Pack add-on).

I've done it a few times with a user in my dynasty and it hasn't worked yet. He gets the new level but cannot get EXP.

One thing I haven't tried is if he takes over an existing coach, that was there at the start of the dynasty. Not taking over his own created coach after he retires and rejoins.

ok so i dont know if it was a stroke of luck or actually a potential fix to throw in the ring but last season we had a new user take over and when it came to "reset" your coaching tree pts i told him to just try it and see if something weird triggers it, well he started gaining xp after that. he was only a lvl 1 obviously because of no xp gain so he just switched 1 coach skill saved and backed out. after week 1 was played he gained xp for that game! like i said it couldve just been a weird instance or a potential weird fix

I am sorry, could you elaborate a little bit?

We just tried having guys accept contract extensions or new offers on their console. Didn't work, still no XP for them
