Hey you all, I have potentially found a fix for the coach xp glitch. Since it is a dynasty file issue I tried this and once we were done the person that had no goals or xp was gaining points and leveling up. We simmed thru 10 more weeks just to make sure it was working and it was. So try doing this if someone in your online dynasty has no goals and cannot gain XP.

-transfer commissioner to another user (not the one with the glitch)
-retire the coach
-have the commish back out to the ncaa main menu
-delete dyn file from file management
-rejoin dyn creating a new coach
- go all the way past the skill tree part till u get to the dyn main screen
- have the commish come back in and advance the dynasty
The change will take effect after the advance. U can then transfer commish back.

Since the file is corrupted u have to create a new file under a new commish and the "glitcher" has to try to refresh the connection as well.
We have tried this and it has worked. I felt I had to Share this bcuz I see so many complaints about the coach thing as well. We've tried to restart we've tried everything and until I figured this method out, nothing worked. So I hope this works for some of u too.

I really appreciate this as I have three users in my OD that are new this year (year 2) and are not getting coach xp. Just a few questions:

-It is the new commish that deletes the dynasty file from file management correct?
-transferring commissioner doesn't retire the original commish or alter his coach xp right?
-Does the old commish have to delete anything or do anything at all other than transfer power?
-Does the "glitcher" retire or does the new commish retire him?

So to recap:
1. commish 1 transfers power to commish 2
2. C2 retires the glitcher
3. C2 backs out to the main menu then deletes the OD file
4. glitcher(s) creates new coach
5. C2 comes back in and advances the dynasty
6. C2 transfers power back to C1

Sorry for the restatements and stupid questions but you know how EA is so I just want to make sure I understand you. Thanks again for posting this info. I will try this tomorrow with three "glitchers" and post the results.

No lol. The dude who has no goals retired himself and then goes to file management and deletes the dyn file cuz he has to create a new one. Did not work for me unfortunately. Hopefully in the off season when you sign an extension it gives you new coach goals

Another possible cause:

Host of the OD is using the downloadable version of ncaa and not the disk.

State if your OD is screwed and if the host is on digital copy and if you are a digital copy.

My theory.

Here is my description, maybe others can also post to help narrow this down...I am the only 1 of 12 members with this glitch.

Using Georgia Tech
Custom Conference(ACC)
Using the disc(not the downloaded game)
not saved to hard drive
joined the Dynasty right from the start
Season ticket holder
I commish a different league(no one has the glitch)
Used default coach
Normal speed coach progression
started at level 0

So just to be clear, there ARE OD's where this problem doesn't happen correct? It's basically a crapshoot (until someone can actually find the root cause) however?

from my experience, in the ODs I'm hosting... this bug occurs when 1 of the original 12 members who joined the OD after it's creation drop out or are booted during the season, and are then replaced by a new member.

That new member and anyone else who joins aside from the original 12, usually end up with getting no XP and no goals.

A guy in my league is saying that he is getting some exp, but not all that he should be getting. Says he is not getting the 100 exp for winning a game. Has anybody experienced getting some, but not all of the exp you should be getting???
