Keep in mind guys.......people will be losing their jobs as well. No college football game means EA don't need all those people on the NCAA dev team either. Sure some of the senior staff will get absorbed into Madden team, but most of them will just get the pink slip.

Re: NCAA 2014 = THE END!
College sports games are dead. No more talk about another company picking it up, please. It's over.
It is and always has been about business, money and CYA. The NCAA is in major CYA mode as a direct result of the O'Bannon lawsuit, and obviously fears, or is bracing for, a court loss.
A good lesson for younger OS members who grew up with releases every fall, assuming this was your God-given right. It is not, and never was. Lawyers rule the world.Comment

That's what I say. Have it go down like College Hoops 2k8. Patch the gameplay, make it great. (already is solid). Add as much to ultimate as you can before the plug is pulled.Comment

Well at least they went out with a bang.. NCAA14 is the best version I have ever played. Sad day though, would have been exciting to see NCAA football on the next gen consoles that are coming out.. End of an Era my friends!Comment

Re: NCAA 2014 = THE END!
Such drama queens on here, haha.
Settle down. There will be a college football video game every year from now until the end of time. Money talks and schools/conferences will ALWAYS listen. The pageantry and lure of the NCAA Football franchise and attention will always bring schools/conferences to it for more exposure. If anything, I think it would open up the door for many small school colleges to get in the game if they are able to sign independent contracts with EA.Last edited by KleShreen; 07-17-2013, 02:44 PM.Comment

Re: NCAA 2014 = THE END!
Maybe this means the conferences will then pull in, and take up the licensing, splitting the proceeds to the schools and themselves. That would probably be better for them.
But on the flip side of that, EA or 2K wont want to do that. Can you imagine how much licensing will go up.Originally posted by BlueNGoldI feel weird for liking a post about exposed penises.Comment

Re: NCAA 2014 = THE END!
If there is no more college ball, then maybe EA will be able to focus on making Madden back into the great game it used to be.
With all the great roster makers here on OS, I won't worry for the next 3 or 4
years, I figure they will step up & update NCAA 14 to adjust for the roster
turnover. Still, it would have been nice to see NCAA on P$4.Comment
