Though what I’ve been doing is no switch in runs and switch on passes. With my tackling at 0 receivers get a lot of big plays if I’m not there to clean up. Even with switching. It’s worse in Madden. More big plays because one on one guys can’t make tackles.

I’d rather broken tackles than 14 sacks and no running game though. Seems to be there are tons of broken tackles in real like in College and Pro

Put tackle at 1 and then under your coach strategy set your defenders to wrap up tackle. That helps a little with the broken tackles. But like you I can live with that more than I can tolerate the CPU gaining like 20 or 30 yards per game.

Some of the bigger program schools you simply have to lower tackle because their player ratings are so high across the boards.

You can then adjust the tackle slider to your liking after you play with that setup. Trying to play with tackle at 30 or 40 isn't making much òf an impact and I can pretty much guarantee you most of the people still experiencing this issue with the CPU run game is because they are either unwilling to go lower or hell bent or trying to stick with the parameters of a particular set they enjoy. Sometimes you have to adjust to what actually benefits the CPÙ and if that requires a setting out of the norm then so be it.

Their running game this year in order to sustain any çonsistency needs to be pampered.
I did. I have a very high run block (90) and my tackle at 5 and still get negative yards. The problem is also the number of running plays. In all game CPU never use HB. I see an average of 5 maximum 10 run plays per game. Consider also that sack hit on rushing stat...Result = Negative rushing yards all games. This issue is ruining all my dinasties and not encourage me to play the game...Madden for running game with the same slider is so much better

That's a really low amount of rushing attempts per game. Sometimes the level plays a major role in CPU play call ratio.

Higher the level the more aggressive offense play call tendency. For example on Varsity I see them run the ball upwards of 20+ times or more especially if they are having success. I also make sure User Reaction is ßet lower so that user defenders aren't recognizing every CPu play call immediately after the ball is snapped.

Turn your tackling on “aggressive” every game and the run game is night and day
