Re: KingSimKits | EA CFB 25 Sliders | TTL Gameplay & Stats
I just tried turning PCV up to 85 for both user and cpu for my bowl game (very even match up between Michigan and LSU in year 2). I couldn't get anything going at all in the passing game, especially downfield. On the other hand, my secondary (which is supposed to be elite, but i haven't been able to get them to play like it) was still getting beat unless I sat in deep zone, in which case they got everything they wanted underneath.
I get it... but I watched a lot of replays and I felt like the DBs shadowed receivers really well either in man or in their zones, which I feel like is what I expect from a high PCV slider. I recognize that a lower PCV value could result in better coverage by allowing other ratings (AWR? SPD/ACC/AGI? PRC?) and user pre-snap adjustments to dictate more of the result, but I won't be able to test it until late tomorrow, whereas I can access this forum in the meantime 😁Those who stay will be champions 〽️Comment

I’ve had injuries at 50 and haven’t seen one single injury (not even a game long one) in about 25 Dynasty games

I started a dynasty after this first patch and saw one injury in game 1. I also wonder if they really nerfed fcs team. Dude was 27-27 for 300 yards and 3 tds through 3 qtrs lol.Comment

Used J-Kits sliders religiously and got into these for CFB25 after a long hiatus from OS Forums.
Got to say, these feel pretty good. The pace feels realistic and the game is neither too slow nor too fast.
Only thing I might tweak is just the CPU PCV or PCR sliders as the coverage has been suffocatingly tight without using cheese plays.
Really nice stuff J-Kits, or rather, ole reliable!Comment

Anyone still using these. Thought about going back to it as SGN’s penalty sliders only sliders has gotten boring in the terms of the running game as in there’s no challenge.

Was looking for this discussion... maybe we could elaborate on it or maybe it deserves its own thread, but I am curious...

I feel your pain. The sliders that affect pass coverage are mysterious by nature lol. Pass def reaction time is reverse/opposite of what you think. Lower is better.
I really think the pass coverage slider is a ratio slider for man/zone. It plays better at 50. Turning ball hawk off has a huge affect on pass coverage for both cpu and user.

I only play dynasty as a coach and "play" cpu vs cpu. I've simplified my sliders over 3 dynasties of testing by moving in increments of 5.
I have good results with upsets and blow outs.
4 int, 10 sacks and 5 fumbles is no longer the norm.
