Re: Mizzou24s XP Sliders
Any input on what’s different in your approach or philosophy from Funkys? Trying to decide the right one for my online dynastyComment

Re: Mizzou24s XP Sliders
I cannot speak for funkycorns. I tested mine to get the most underclassmen to leave early. It’s still way off from what it should be but it was consistently over 20 per class. I also tried to balance the positions to produce more elite players at problem positions. DT and safeties while trying to balance the over inflated positions guards and mlbs.Mizzou Tigers

Re: Mizzou24s XP Sliders
I like the idea of these sliders but after doing my own preliminary testing last night I'm a bit discouraged that anything you do with the xp sliders will produce anything realistic. I turned all sliders down to 0, simmed 5 seasons, and there were still over 300 87+ rated players. If 87 is the pro draft threshold, that's still way too many players considering there are an avg of 240 draft picks a year after compensatory picks are made. Btw I had 29 underclassmen transfer at 0 for all xp sliders.
I'm about to try and run all xp sliders at 300 and see if it makes much of a difference.Believe in the ball and throw yourself!Comment

Re: Mizzou24s XP Sliders
What year was the 29 underclassmen? The first year always produces the most. The consistency of having that much is the pain. When it drops in the low teens. I did try higher maxes and it made it worse for underclassmen. As I stated there isn’t much more we can do without EA adjusting the progression system.
I just simmed to 2039 from the same file, but with xp sliders at 300 instead of 0 and man what a difference! Probably 50% more 87+ OVR players(qb's went from 20 87+ players to 32 as an example). I also noticed 89 is the new 87, with 89 rated players showing 7th round potential, and 87-88 players just graduating.
Gonna keep testing, but I think the lower xp sliders are gonna be the way to go for me. Probably gonna be at or close to 0 for most all sliders except for FB, FS, SS, K, P.Believe in the ball and throw yourself!Comment

Re: Mizzou24s XP Sliders
Welp I just counted in my 2039 simulation at 300 for all xp sliders, 28 underclassmen declared.
Very small sample on my end, but my theory is the amount of declaring underclassmen is not going to really change based on the xp sliders as no matter what you do the very best of them will be rated near the graduating nfl caliber seniors.
I still think the lowered xp sliders are a good idea for most all positions, allows for a more balanced ovr distribution between positions. FB/FS/SS/K/P barely progress at all, while HB/G/MLB and others produce a ton of elite talent over the yearsBelieve in the ball and throw yourself!Comment

Re: Mizzou24s XP Sliders
What I'm trying to accomplish is an xp slider set that allows a more realistic progression experience, to the point that a close to realistic amount of players are nfl caliber players by the time they graduate or declare early.
What's realistic per position? Here's the last ten year average drafted per position(position groups for some unfortunately)
QB-11.5
HB/FB-22.5
TE-14.5
WR-32
OL-42.5
DL-44.5
LB-31.5
CB-22.5
S-13.5
