Re: How is your dynasty going
Season 2, Game 1:
The Mercer Bears opened the season with a loss to the heavily favored Georgia Bulldogs 42-13, after starting out the game on a 13-0 run. Turnovers turned out to be detrimental for Bobby Lamb's team (2 fum 1 int) in a game where the Bears outgained their instate opponent in total yards (374 Mer, 337 UGA).
Junior RB Jabari Scruggs scored the Bears only touchdown late in the first quarter on a 66 yard run and finished the day with 136 yards on 20 carries against a talented Bulldog defense. Starting QB John Russ (9-16, 97yds 1int 1fum) was replaced by true freshman Joshua Carter who went 9-12 for 73 yards along with rushing for 41 yards in his college debut. Carter will see the field much more as the season moves forward.
Next up, the Mercer Bears (0-1, 72ovr) take on the FIU Golden Panters (0-1 81ovr) who are coming off a heart breaking loss to an FCS West opponent.please vote.Comment

How is your dynasty going
I'm in year three of my dynasty, I am in the second year of being HC at USA. This team has talent plus some impact freshman I recruited. But at the end of the day, we finished 4th in the sun belt in 2014. To open up 2015 I played #18 Nebraska in game 2.
Played incredible defense and very consistent in the run game allowing my pass game to open up in the second half. My true freshman Qb and true freshman HB take over the game and when the clock struck 0:00 USA had prevailed 27-21...but it didn't feel that way.
Announcers made no mention of a 3rd year Fbs program was beating at top 25 team. Players didn't even get excited, just shook hands and walked off the field. I mean I like to think you should act like you been there, but still...maybe a hug or something!!

Re: How is your dynasty going
Just played Cincy in a game where my freshman QB, Justin Davis, struggled after I switched back to the Purdue playbook. Ended up putting in my sophomore QB who went 16 for 20 for 273 yards with 2 TD's and no INT's. I once again was faced with a tough decision, and once again, I have officially made a starting QB change. I also switched up my offense to a fast paced, no huddle, west coast offense. Special teams and defense played a HUGE role in Purdue's 42-24 victory over Cincy. I had a kick off return, a fumble recovery, and an INT all returned for TD's.“Only from the alliance of people working with and through each other are great things born." - Darrell Hazell, Purdue Head Football CoachComment

My Michigan State Dynasty: Year 1
Week 1 vs Western Michigan: W 38-10
Going into Friday nights game Head Coach Mark Dantonio remained mum on who the starting QB would be. Senior QB Andrew Maxwell ended up starting the game and played rather well, going 13-20 for 201 yds, 1 TD, and 1INT. HB Jeremy Langford had a memorable game as he had career highs in yards and TDs in his first career start. 122 yards and 3 TDs for the junior tailback.
The Spartans quickly pounced on the Broncos as Maxwell connected on his first 10 throws to lead MSU down the field for their 1st TD of the game. The Spartan defense dominated all game as they forced 2 INTs and also recorded 5 sacks. At the half MSU would lead 24-10. That's as close as WMU would get as the Spartans defense stood tall in the second half not allowing the Broncos to pass midfield the rest of the game.

Re: How is your dynasty going
Today my 24 ranked Boilersmakers (2-2, 1-0 Big 10) traveled to Maryland. Maryland's defense came to play as they held me to 4 yards total rushing on the day and forced three turnovers. It all started on my first drive, they picked me off then marched down the field for a TD. On the kickoff, I had a 70 yard return called back on a chop blocking penalty. Never got my offense moving and was forced to punt. On Maryland's next drive, they marched down the field and scored again. On my next drive, I finally got my passing game going, then I finished off my drive with a 4 yard TD run. Maryland would score one more time before the half. Making the score 21-7. In the second half I managed two more TD's and lost two crucial fumbles as Maryland went on to win by a final of 38-21. This game was honestly not even close, I can't believe I scored three times. Up next, the Boilers travel to Florida to take on USF.“Only from the alliance of people working with and through each other are great things born." - Darrell Hazell, Purdue Head Football CoachComment

Re: How is your dynasty going
After winning the Rose Bowl against North Carolina, Arizona State HC Todd Graham left for the HC job at Maryland. Graham led Arizona State to an 11-1 record in 2013, enough to finish the season the #4 team in the nation. Arizona State defeated Oregon in the PAC-12 Championship game. Todd Graham then led Arizona State to a Rose Bowl victory over North Carolina, which moved Arizona State into the #2 ranked team in the nation.
Everyone wanted to sign Graham in the offseason; no one thought he would leave Arizona State, though. Yet that is exactly what happened. Graham left Arizona State for the head coaching job at Maryland, saying he wanted to return home.
Just to have some fun, I did randomized conference re-alignments.
Maryland moves to American conference
Louisville moves to ACC.
Texas Tech to Big 10\Nebraska to Big 12.
Rice to MWC, Nevada to C-USA.
Army to PAC 12, Washington to Independents.
Toldeo to Sun Belt, Texas state to MAC.
SEC/PAC 12 swap- Arizona to SEC, Florida to PAC-12.Ravens: In Ozzie We Trust

I did watch it all, I live about 2 hours north of Cincy on 75. I'm a die hard Purdue fan but I've always liked Cincy. I've even been to Nippert a couple times. I was disappointed with Purdue's performance and blown away by Cincy's.“Only from the alliance of people working with and through each other are great things born." - Darrell Hazell, Purdue Head Football CoachComment

N4E's 2014 Florida State Seminole Preview
Looking into the 2014 season, The Seminoles open up in the kick off classic then head to South Bend to face off with Notre Dame. Jimbo will look to open up the playbook with 2nd year starter Jameis Winston now having a year under his belt, he'll have plenty of weapons but can he cut his turnovers (17) down. Devonta Freeman who came on late last year will return and look to put back to back 1,000 yards, Pender & Ryan Green will split carries and hope to replace James Wilder who left for the NFL draft. The offensive line returns 4 of 5 starters and will be the strength of this team. 2nd year DC Jeremy Pruitt has switched to a full time 3-4, The defense loses 3 starters, but the kids taking over will not take a step back as all 3 new starters saw plenty of action last season.

Re: How is your dynasty going
Began a season with Ole Miss the other night. Had a very good year as we are now 13-0 and playing for the national title against a 9-3 LSU team.... Somehow they beat out a one loss Louisville team and a one loss Ohio State team. Bo Wallace has had a great year throwing for 31 td's and 3,000 yds. The surprise though is Robert Nkemdiche taking home the top defensive honors along with first team AA honors as a freshman led the NCAA with 16 sacks. Hoping I can beat LSU one more time to bring that title to Oxford!XBOX ONE GAMERTAG: TMAGIC05Comment
