Re: RIVALS 22-23
CHAMPIONSHIP WEEK
-----------------
Ohio State is one win away from going to the National Championship and it would take a miracle for Minnesota to somehow pull this off. The Buckeyes have outscored every team in the NCAA and although they have had their struggles on defense, there just hasnt been anybody who can get over the hump. The assumption isnt whether or not they will win, but who they will face when they do rather. The SEC Championship will likely give us that answer whether it's Georgia or Ole Miss. Georgia beat Ole Miss in the season opener so it will be tough to beat them a second time but they are loaded. With Georgia being the favorite the question is will they leap Oklahoma if the Sooners are able to get past Texas. The Big 12 introduced their Championship this year and it could be the difference in OU getting a chance at the title or not. If Arch can get his boys to handle up then we will likely see a Big Ten SEC Championship.

OU wins the Big 12 Championship in fashion as they try to make their case to the BCS committee. 2 Ole Miss beat 4 Georgia 34-28 so the odds are they stay at #2 and face #1 OSU in the National Championship, but we are praying this game sent the statement.
I'll do a write up later so yal can see what actually happened but I have to leave to get something from workComment

Re: RIVALS 22-23
Oregon goes back to back [emoji1364][emoji1364][emoji1364] we played like we did when we were number #1 today and all we can do is sit back and hope the committee thinks we deserve a shot at Ohio state in the national title. It’s 100% bias but I think there’s no other team in CFB that deserves it but us. We paid our dues, beat all the good teams on schedule, and won our conference. Not much more we could’ve done to showcase just how good our team is.

Re: RIVALS 22-23
Big 12 Championship
3 OKLAHOMA vs 8 TEXAS
(Highlights are on IG)
1st pass Jenkins throws an INT to Lawrence on the sideline. OU comes out with a 7 play drive, Gray ends it on a td. 2nd pass Jenkins throws a 2nd INT to Washington on the opposite sideline. Gray scores again for OU giving them a 14-0 lead. Texas gets a big play on a deep ball that the cpu gives up, which is my mistake because the first 2 picks were user. We lock back down and hold them to a fg. 3rd straight drive for OU gets us in the redzone, but the drive ends in a goalline int. Texas hoping to flip the momentum does the opposite as Roberson forces a strip sack similar to the one he forced in the first meeting. OU recovers and almost runs it back. Td run by Major makes it 21-3. Jenkins, the freshman, finally catches a break as a crossing pattern to Washington goes for 77yds to make it 21-10. OU stalls but Lawrence gets his 2nd pick.OU goes 71 yds in 46 seconds.. 28-10 Mims td.
Pick 6 by our MLB to start the 3rd.... 35-10. From there it was pretty much coasting. Too much momentum at that point and our defense has peaked. We held Texas to 0 rushing yards, 1 successful 3rd down, only 1 trip to the redzone, and both QBs to 50% passing with 6 total turnovers.
We want Ohio State.

Re: RIVALS 22-23
OU and Oregon aren't getting in the Natty, for sure Oregon isn't. Georgia and Ole Miss just played a playoff game really and Georgia won. Being in the SEC and winning the SEC championship over the #2 team in the nation, is basically a guarantee Georgia is going to the Natty.Comment

I believe Ole Miss won Oregon is out but Ou was only behind a very slim margin I could totally see Ou jumping Ole Miss with whatever mushed up system they use.
