This game was actually a lot closer than it should've been, my QB got injured and I was pretty scattered for a quarter and a half until I got used to my backup.

I ended one season witn A%M in the BIG 12 with a record of 8-4

I played some games really bad but I can tell that is harder than play madden more than anything on defense.
anyway I got much more expierience playing madden than NCAA could be that the reason that I feel harder NCAA

In my opinion NCAA plays harder then Madden too when you set it up right. NCAAs zone coverage is much better then Maddens even though it's still easy to pass the ball but I throw more INTs on NCAA then I do on Madden. Also running the ball can be tough on NCAA when setting the sliders up right. It's too easy to run the ball on Madden. Everytime I play an elite team on NCAA its super tough for me to win the game and I've gotten blown out in the bowl game I played against Oregon in my first year Dynasty. I haven't gotten blown out on Madden yet. Everytime I lose its close.

One thing I don't like about NCAA is how the CPU QBs take stupid sacks. I get about 4 or 5(sometimes more) a game.. I bumped the CPUs pass block up to 90 and lowered my pass rush to 40 and I'm still getting a decent amount of sacks.. You already told me you've been getting a crazy amount of sacks too you so you know exactly what I'm talking about.. But other then that I've been having fun with these man.. I got a big game right now against Oklahoma. They have a very high rated team right now and it should be tough..

Damn you hung the points on Michigan St. even though you got shredded by Cousins. Haha! At least you bounced back with some good pass defense against Purdue. You pretty much been getting shredded by the pass against most of the teams you played this year. Haha! You might as well go ahead and plug in those tweaks I was telling you about yesterday even though you are already thrown a decent amount of INTs on the season already. I believe its the only way to slow down your pass game. Check your sacks on the season too and if you have a crazy amount like I was telling you I had you might as well raise the CPUs pass block up too..

Ok had to crank the sliders up some more. Right now I'm currently undefeated with both Miami and A&M at 10-0. I'm on pace to have both teams in the National Championship. Even though I had some tough games where I came close to losing I just feel like I should have had a lost by now and the only reason I haven't is from some dumb stuff being called by the AI. The continue to take terrible sacks and call 8 man blitzes 8 to 10 times a game and sometimes in the 2 minute drill which is terrible. So I was left with no choice but to raise the CPUs pass block to 90 because I was getting way too many sacks and I lowered the USER pass rush to 40. I raise the CPUs INTs to 100, and I raised the CPUs catching to 100 on the black set.. This seems like the only way where I can really get a challenged along with a possible upset along the way. On the red set I raised the CPUs pass block to 75, the CPUs INTs to 75, and the CPUs catching to 75. Leave the sliders where you had it if the games are working out for you. This is what I'm doing for my personal set.

If you want the AI to really crank up their passing game, lower the human rush defense. Try a game with it at 35, it will help the AI get open a bit more.

There run game operates good against me with how I have it set up. Do you mean my pass rush? Its just some of the stupid things they do when they pass the ball.. I already lowered my pass coverage, INTs, and pass rush to 40 and raised there passing sliders up.. I'm going to see how it plays out with the moves I just made before I consider lowering my pass rush some more..

No, I mean lower the Human run defense to 35 or so. This helps the AI pass game more than lowering the pass coverage. I think Run defense is the overall Awareness slider and this includes pass plays.

Check out my sliders, the Human run defense, pass defense, Int, and the tackling are all at 35. The AI shreds me through the air. If I moved the run defense to 50, the AI pass game gets neutered. I have pass rush on 50 and its tough to get sacks and the AI can run very well, and I have the AI RBA at 35. They try to use more finesse moves and break it outside. When I raise it higher, they try to bowl my guys over and I get more tackles for loss.

Don't get me wrong. I get shredded by the AI sometimes too.. Plenty of times.. They just make alot of dumb decisions and take a bunch of stupid sacks and I've won games I should have lost because of it. It might not even be a slider thing. I'll probably lower my rush defense to 40 and see how it works. Not trying to go too low because they already be killing me with the run in some games with how I have it set up now..

Jarodd - I've been playing with your black set for several weeks, but since you've made the changes to human pass coverage and cpu run blocking, I haven't been able to stop anyone at all.

I think I may plug in your "red" set tonight, and I'll see how things work out. Looks to me like those should be about right for my skill set.

You should have left it where I had it before if it was working for you. I believe it was when I had the USER pass coverage at 45 and the CPUs runblocking at 55 right? Just plug those back and and work with that if those were the only 2 issues you were having. I only cranked it up to where I have it now to get a better challenge from the CPU for me because I feel I shouldn't be undefeated right now with 2 teams. But put it back to where I had it if it was work. You can also check out the red set too. The red set is almost looking like my old set because when I change something on the black set I also change something on the red set so they might work out for you. Let me know how it goes.. I'll help you adjust any areas you are having trouble with..
