Ok lowered USER rush defense to 40 on the black set and 45 on the red set . Hopefully this reduces the sacks I continue to get against the CPU but don't open up there run game too much. Leave the settings where you have them if its working for you I'm just trying to get it right for myself or anyone else who feels they should be losing more games in there Dynasty.. I'm going to sit on these setting for a while and see how they play out..

Ok few updates to both sets. Lowered the USER catching to the black set is 35, USER pass block to 0 and USER INTs is 35. I felt like my passing needed to be challenged so I lowered the catching to 35 and the pass block to 0.. Big time WRs perform like they should but guys with low attributes drop passes in traffic but not many wide open passes. You still get enough time in the pocket to do your thing with the USER pass block on 0 but you definitely have to be quicker with your decisions. I was still getting too many INTs so I decided to lower it to 35.

On the red set I lowered the USER catching and INTs to 40 and the USER pass block to 20.

Ok I been off the NCAA for about a week because I been messing around with my madden sliders. Here is a game I just got in against Maryland in the ACC championship Using Miami with the black set.

Maryland jumped out on me 10-0 before I hauled off 31 unanswered points for the easy win. Now I'm in the championship game with the possiblity that I will be playing A&M the other team I'm using who is also undefeated if I win in the SEC championship against Georgia. Hopefully I get the sliders right to where this won't be happening too often.

So far I like the feel of the catching and INTs at 35. WRs I felt should be dropping passes in traffic were and my stud WRs were still making plays.. INTs at 35 felt good too. Maryland is the kind of team where I usually get about 3 or 4 easy INTs but I only got one which was cool.. I'm still getting way too many sacks even with the CPUs pass block on 90.. We'll see how it goes before I decide to look into that some more..

Game started off great going back and forth with big strikes in the first half, then it calmed down in the 2nd half. Started playing better defense and Georgia struggle to move the ball and I controlled the game with my running.. Well I officially have both of the teams I'm using in the championship game. Trying to decide on which team I want to use.. Hopefully this doesn't happen in year 3 because I really feel I shouldn't of went undefeated with A&M in the SEC. I'm still getting way too many sacks a game which kills alot of the CPUs drives.. So I'll probably be lowering my USER pass rush down to 35 and see how it goes..

Both teams came out on fire in this game.. After the first half it look like the game was going to end up with a basketball score but both defenses showed up big time in the 2nd half.. I held off a late drive from A&M down in the redzone to pull off the victory and win my 2nd straight championship with Miami. I'm hoping these latest tweaks I made will help the CPU be way more competitive against me in year 3... I like how this game felt so we'll see..

Hey man long time no talk .. Do u think that jacking the sliders up or down so much is affecting player ratings, making rosters basically meaningless? Just the idea of making the CPU team better no matter what seems off to me. I definitely agree that it needs to be more challenging, but I just winder how much it's affecting player ratings?

Hey what's going on Cheda?? From what I see it doesn't really matter. It's like the game programs those low rated teams to perform bad no matter what but when you play an elite team you really feel it and you have to be on top of your game.

I don't know how it feels to anybody else but that is how it feels when I play bad or good teams.. I see the difference in the overall rating of each team no matter how the sliders are set up.

I'm just trying to set it up to where you have to be on point every game in order to get a realistic outcome for each particular game. I don't want it to come easy. Right now I'm having trouble losing a game but I do get great competition when I play an elite team..

Naw it really doesn't matter as long as you test the games in Dynasty.. Games play out different in Play now and Dynasty..

Man, i just started playing this game a few days ago because i had a defective disc.

In my San Diego State dynasty using blk sliders, i beat one cupcake school easily but once I started playing against my conference, Im starting to lose bad.

On offense, it seems like the wr drop everything, cant run, just nothing lol. On defense, I can only stop them on Int or fumble recovery. Also the comp no huddled almost everytime so that made it worse.

I was getting frustrated but then i realized that this is SDSU not USC. They play a 3-3-5 on defense but the team does not have any team speed. I have to play way more zone because the cbs gets beat on man.

On offense, it seems like quick throws and utilizing my rb is the way to go since the qb and rb are impact players.

These sliders are more challenging than Madden but I probably wont know for sure until yr 2 or 3.

Haha! Yea man they are tough especially when you play an elite team. It will get better for you once you build you team up. I also agree they are tougher then my Madden sliders when you play an elite team. Mainly because the CPU plays tougher run defense on NCAA..

Just added an easier set(Red) for guys who felt the other 2 were a little too hard and needed something a little easier to start off with so they can work there way up to the other 2 sets.. Its still a little more difficult then default Heisman because of the USER sliders being lowered in all areas. The CPU sliders are on default Heisman.. The middle set is the blue set and the hardest set is the black set.

Jarodd...I've been playing with your sliders for a couple weeks now and really enjoying them. I use your black set and have been very happy with the realistic challenge they give me. I hate knowing that I'm going to win every game. With that said, I am having trouble with one aspect of those sliders. The CPU interceptions. I have messed with it a little bit and found that with it on 80 or above I throw picks like they're going out of style. I threw 6 in one game with it on 80, and then threw 3 in the first half of another game before getting extremely frustrated. Many of the picks I was throwing weren't even bad reads, but just amazing plays by the CPU. So I bumped the slider down to 75. With the slider on 75 I threw 7 TDs and 0 ints against the same team. I was playing a solid opponent in FSU. B+ defense in my dynasty. How can I find the happy medium? It seems like feast or famine. Thanks for any input you may have.

I hate having the INTs on 100 because like you said the CPU does make some unbelievable INTs but if I lower the INTs down it seems like the CPUs coverage becomes garbage and I end up shredding any team with ease.. There defenders don't react to the ball the same and it's terrible so I'm left with either going out and dropping 400 yards and 5 TD passes a game with the INTs below 100 or dealing with the superman INTs at 100. I choose to go with the 100 INTs. It's very frustrating but I feel like I have no choice.. I know exactly what your going through for real..

I believe the latest tweaks I plugged in recently have finally did the trick. I'm getting ready to jump into year 3 and see how the season goes. I've been doing some tweaking trying to balance the INTs out a little. Here is what I changed from your black sliders. I have built my AU team up to A+ across the board and defense was becoming a bit easy so I tweaked that a bit, also.

I now have:

user qb acc: 10
cpu ints: 85
user tackling:45


Basically, I felt like I needed to help the CPUs offense a little so I lowered my tackling slider. This seems to have worked pretty well both in the run and oddly the passing game also. To offset my interception problem I raised my QB accuracy. I had been switching between 75 and 80 for the CPU INTs, but since I helped my QB ACC so much I bumped CPU INTs up to 85 (still lower than you have it, but you must be much more advanced than me in the passing game). I seem to be getting better results. Instead of throwing 6 picks a game, I may throw 2 or 3. If I play really well I may throw 0 or 1.
