Starting up a new dynasty tonight with these sliders. I've got my OD going and i'm using Jarrod21's but the broken tackles are insane. Defensive tackle has a running back stopped in the backfield and he just stiff arms him to the ground and runs up field for 12 yards breaking a couple more tackles.

I've used SEC's as well but those I began to dominate after some time. Hopefully these provide me with a challenge without feeling cheated.

TAK at 35 gives broken tackles, but not as many. That's what I personally use in my GT dynasty, helps the extend the options a bit further against those fast *** linebackers

While I may not be known in the slider community....

Known around here or not, thank you very much for posting this set of sliders. For the first time, in the nine or ten games I've been able to play so far, I've had two games in a row that felt like college football games. More to the point, like a football game at all. (Though the penalties were noticeably, at least in my games, few and far between)

Does this set make the game perfect, no, but things are improved for my game-play. Lets face it, a gold dipped dirt clod is still only worth as much as the covering.

Yes, out routes are left open sometimes, as are slants, but I've been able to successfully stop offenses on fourth down (and third down for that matter which was something that I've not been able to achieve reliably in the past even against far weaker teams) and force FG's and Punts using both man and zone coverages.

There have been dropped passes and fumbles. The run game may prove to be too wide open still, more testing is required against better defenses. However, the CPU is getting good INT's on (purposefully) poorly thrown balls and I am able to put the ball into smaller windows at times with the analog stick.

My biggest issue is USER and USER defensive unit interceptions. Twice I've had CPU controlled Safeties standing right in front of a WR, just waiting for a lobbed pass into the back of the end zone and they don't jump to intercept/swat. I've had multiple instances when, while controlling the safety and pressing the triangle button, he has refused to jump for and attempt at an INT (I don't know if this is a controller/timing issue or a game bug most likely I'm just doing something wrong) but I'll probably play with INT rating and see if that improves.

Regardless I'll be using this set until the patch. Now I can finally start up a new and real dynasty and see how the season goes. I'll play until the patch comes out and likely be forced to start this horrendous tweaking process all over again.

So until the mysterious patch appears, I award you, Sir Jacory, with a trophy and hope you won't forget us. We need you to stick around to tweak this set of sliders if, more likely when, the patch messes everything up. But hopefully that is because it's fixing some serious flaws.

Jacory, first I would like to thank you for taking the time to create a slider set for the OS community. I respect all Slider testers/Makers even if I agree with their work or not. Now lets me explain what I think about this slider set.

Its a good set, the problems that I was seeing in the two games I used them in was that the passing game was wide open for the CPU QB. I have three theories in regards to this.

Theory 1-The pass coverage slider is set very low

Theory 2-The "Robo QB" effect due to playing a Heisman CPU

Theory 3-The CPU QB Accuracy slider set at its base of 50

The reason I bring up the CPU QB is because I just got torched by BYU's 2nd and 3rd String QB's in which neither has an overall above 75. I was playing as Texas.

Everything else was fine with me, I uped the CPU WR catching by 5 and adjusted the pass coverage slider.

i wanted to give you guys an update on how things are going.. I applied Fiddy's theory of only using 0,25,50,100 from his thread to these sliders, and I'm having even better games than i was before. i just rounded the OP sliders to fit and with some tweaking they're working fine!
