They added all of the teams main missing mascots except the Patriots as far as I can tell. These are who was added in this update. It’s weird to me that they didn’t put them in the notes.
Browns-Chomps
Colts-Blue
Panthers-Sir Purr
Saints-Gumbo
Seahawks-Blitz
Steelers-Steely McBeam
Titans-T-Rac
Vikings-Viktor👍 3Comment

I did one slow Sim since the patch and there were 14 sacks combined. There was no real mention of a big update to pass blocking in the patch notes. The CPU QB just continues to sit in the pocket waiting for a D lineman to destroy him. This game is straight trash for solo franchise players, we are not the audience they are catering to. If EA could find a way to make franchise mode pay-for-play then maybe the mode would be better.👍 1Comment

Cowboys and Raiders are still vanilla though, hoped they would be updated as well.👍 1Comment

One thing I've noticed is that I'll have to heavily revise the slider set I was using. The patch appears to have opened the game up a bit so I'm reducing sliders. Bigger runs are occurring as well as lots more completed passes. We'll see.Comment

Still waiting for the title update where they add defensive holding penalties back in the game . . .Texas Rangers/Chicago Cubs
Dallas Cowboys
San Antonio Spurs👍 2Comment

You'll be waiting until the afterlife, and here's why: we all know that 2k had defensive holding in the game 20 years ago and EA doesn't... just like offensive PI and other stuff. At this point. it is no longer about EA getting around to it, hardware issues or anything like that. This is an intentional program design. For whatever reason, EA just does not want it in the game (I'm going to add QB injuries to this... yeah, you might see them get banged up, but it's been years since I've seen a QB miss significant time).
I don't know if this is one of those "the NFL won't allow it" things or what (a favorite line from EA apologists) but it's just not going to happen.

Since the patch the running game seems incredibly easy. I just played the Bears vs Lions and I ran for 294 yards. Swift had 207, I rotated every RB on my roster and they all had holes a tractor could get through. No one on defense seems to be getting off of blocks and not just at the line, downfield as well.
Is no one else seeing this?<a href="http://www.operationsports.com/Danimal/blog/6756-going-old-school-v1/">Read my blog Going Old School v1 GridIron! football.👍 1Comment
