Hate to put it out like this but EA knows they are dealing with a lot of young teens that they can continue to manipulate year after year. They know a lot of their consumers are kids simply don't know when they are being scammed. If the majority of their fan base was say 38 yrs old, they know they wouldn't be able to pull this crap. It's unfortunate because unfortunately, some of u know what's going on, and sense something fishy, but yet just don't have the ability to simply stop buying their games. Really sad

I am going ahead and getting Madden for the PS4 for a couple of reasons. I haven't gotten Madden since Madden 12, for different reasons(other games, lack of money). I want it for the PS4 so I'll have a football game to play. Seeing as I didn't get Madden 25 for the PS3, am I going to be disappointed with what I'll be playing on the PS4?

I do realize we aren't getting what we thought after E3, and that does disappoint me, but will the game still provide a good time for a hardcore sim player?

No you wont be disappointed.... But if you played it on XBOX 360, then you'll be hihgly disappointed in the PS4 version...

If you buy Madden 25 for the PS4 and are surprised about being disappointed, its all your fault. EA does this every year!

Runs smoother looks better plays better, but not up 2k14 quality. But it is better than CG.

obviously its not 2k quality but I think it looks pretty damn good. Play a game at the 630 time slot, the lighting is beautiful. The stream I saw the sun kept gradually going down and one point was just peaking over the top of the stadium and casted a nice glare. I hope next year though we get a TRUE next gen version. They obviously could have done so much more

I have purchased EVERY MADDEN . Chasing a football high that ill never get .

I put in madden first game on the ps4 it made me sick .

Put in NBA and it was like i was in heaven .

I didn't know what I was getting. I LOVE Madden on 360, I have every right to say I was let down on next-gen. But it's their first go around, hopefully it will be better next year.

I feel they needed to come out strong because of what happened in Madden 06 Xbox 360. For years many people have been saying that is the one thing they simply can't let happen again. They should have learned from their mistakes with this release. This game needed to be sweet year one, and needed to put them back on the map again as a top sports title. Specially when they had so long to prepare for it this time.

My opinion is the game is exactly in the same state as Madden 06 was. I realize not everyone will feel that way, and we all have different things we look for in our games, but this is just my feeling. The game is behind in gameplay, no strides in features really for me(other then maybe share feature, which was copied), and the graphics only look next gen on some up close moments that don't appear to ever be during gameplay. They act like custom celebrations is some amazing new feature, but it was done awesome in 2004. Along with many other missing features. Where is the custom camera? How could that not be in this year? Wouldn't you want to show off this games graphics with it? How can they still let the frame rate look so bad after a play is over, or no huddle line ups,etc? And why is with the speed up and slow down animations still in there? This game should have at least ran silky smooth by now. It's like they think we don't notice, or think it's a big deal to us.

I don't know, I don't want to go off on a rant, but like I mentioned a few times in different threads here, just not feeling this release. I think we all can see it's short comings, and depending on your expectations in games, and in finished polished products is how much you end up liking it I guess.

Madden 25 Is no where nearly as bad as Madden 06. I'd rather bash a brick against my head then ever relive the experience of Madden 06 on the 360. Madden 06 on 360 makes Madden 25 look like it was forged from Gold.

He's comparing the situation/impact of Madden 25 today in the year 2013 with the situation/impact of Madden 06 in the year 2005.

Lol, they didn't do anything for Madden on next gen. They literally ported the game and that's it, nothing else. The game will obviously feel smoother because it is on a much more powerful system.. No it isn't Madden 06 on 360, but Madden 06 on regular Xbox still probably is a better overall game which is sad. If we had that Madden with the current graphics I would be pleased.

The comparison any way you slice it is ridiculous. 06 was literally 3 steps back from the current gen games of it's time. This game is in no way, shape or form a step back from the current gen games of now.

You can back track what you said all you want, but it's exaggeration for the sake of exaggeration no matter how you try to explain it away.

Honestly, how much time have you really spent with this game?
