Re: Madden NFL 25 Impressions (PS4)
There is no like "in-game save" label or anything, you can either quit a game (while staying in madden) and lose the progress, or close madden from the PSN menu/turn console off and you will be able to continue when you get back. I am kinda shocked EA didn't say anything about this, maybe they did but I never heard anything."Successful people do not celebrate in the adversity or misfortune of others."

CPU runners seem to use juke and spin moves much more frequently. I am liking it.Comment

Thanks for all the impressions. It sounds like the game is good but not great. I will not get it. I want to be blown away and that clearly will not happen. If there is a demo, I will check it out. When the game is on the line, winners want the ball.Comment

Re: Madden NFL 25 Impressions (PS4)
I finally got to download the title update and the frame rate seems a little better afterward. But it's still definitely not locked in at 60 FPS like Battlefield and NBA 2K are.
Madden feels like it's probably closer to 40 FPS most of the time, plus it still stutters a lot.Comment

Is no one else having framerate issues? It is certainly not a solid 60fps. It seems much less smooth than the 360 version.Rams, Jays, Raptors, LeafsComment

So far I'm pretty impressed with this game. While the presentation is just a shined up version of the CG game, it plays so much better. I can really see now how EA was kind of screwed on this one. You really can't tell a difference by just looking at the game, you really need to play it and kind of feel the differences for yourself. Once you start playing, you can see how the changes work and how the feel of it all is so much better.Comment

I mean it looks like they listened to us a little. The offensive line play is 10x better. Similarly tru step is good too. Cheeses can't do that swerve running anymore. Also the infinity engine is better too. The gang tackling works and there's no more players falling over each other post play. It's not the best game but they did address a lot of concerns. It's clear that the E3 video was CGI and not "actual gameplay." I tried to recreate that RG3 running animation and it's not in the game. That pro-talk animation where AP runs through the defenders isn't in the game. That dive that RG3 does at the end of the trailer also isn't in the game.Comment
