Well EA, read this thread, I'm not buying Madden 15 till it's a used game at a bargain price this year from a used store ... no more shoveling you dough when you skimp on features that were in the game before and obviously missed by many people. Fail !

LOL! That twitter link that proved no cpu vs cpu above ( thanks ), shows the incredible lack of communication in a major corporate franchise. When that dude from EA said he was not in the know or in communication with a certain department that was amazing ! At least he found out...LOL!

I remember when the Xbox 360 came out and there was no CPU vs CPU in 2006... then there was in 2009 I believe.... so by that logic I guess Madden 17 will have it ? OYE VAY ! LOL!

NBA 2K and MLB: The Show allow CPU vs CPU. Can't speak on EA's NHL series, but with the way EA does FIFA and Madden, I'm gonna say no CPU vs CPU for NHL either.

EA's NHL game has a coach mode.

What irks me is that they could easily put it in the game. Just some coding and patching and BAM! It's in. Looman tried to claim that putting CPU vs. CPU in CFM would have made the game buggy or screwed with XP which wasn't true in the slightest. I used the workaround and it worked great. So his excuse made no sense at all, but if he'd care to elaborate further, I'll check out what he has to say. The logistics are clearly there to have it in, he and his team simply decided to not do it.

Looks like I'm cancelling my pre-order to Madden NFL 15. I thought coach mode/auto-pass works with 32 team control, but apparently, you have to limit your choice to only one team. I was willing to accept some compromises, but I can only compromise so much.

This sucks. I really wanted to give the Madden NFL team my money. I guess they don't need it since it's catered to MUT and online gamers.

Oh well.

I'll just stick to Madden 12 with updated rosters for my fix. 12 still suits my needs and there's enough other good games coming out this fall that I won't miss the new Madden that has dropped this one feature that I truly enjoyed.

I never even pre-ordered it due to believing this would happen after last year. I really wanted to buy this game. The presentation and some of the CFM additions seem nice, but I want to be the architect in my game like in the past, not the guy with the hammer. Last year, there was a workaround and they made sure to take care of that problem this year. Not sure why, who is it hurting to leave it in?

If I find out that another workaround is possible, I'll buy the game, but EA getting my money is conditional now. My only hope is that sales go down again this year. Maybe then, they'll get desperate and decide to actually not isolate a loud minority because they do matter.

Gonna check to see if Tecmo bowl is still updating rosters online. Played it last year a bit and they at least have cpu vs cpu in a season mode. Hey it's something LOL. And it's free.

I agree, eventually they'll get it, trust me at some point CPU VS CPU in Franchise will be a selling point on the back of the box

They will get it when they finally have competition and we can chose other football games. I don't know how old the rest of you are but I remember when we had 2,3 and sometimes 4 choices. I've always been loyal to madden, now I wish we had those choices again.

These gaming companies are getting more and more illogical by the day. I heard 2k went this same route and also tried to shut down the CPU vs CPU workaround in NBA 2k14 which made our community members have to "secretly" private message another workaround. WTF?

I hope there is another workaround when the game is released. Sick and tired of the greed of these Sports Games developers. I've been able to live without Madden this long and I can keep on doing so but why should I have to?

Bro, I might have to recant my statement. Go over to the 2k board. 2k is releasing "MyLeague" which is like Association Mode on "Steroids" for Next Gen.

Madden needs to do the same. The community will love EA. Please EA go take a look and see what the community wants.
