So they know lots of people want this feature back and are upset about but 3rd year in a row, don't include it?..... Guess it'll be in madden 16 as the "new feature for the 1st time ever, CPU vs CPU in CFM."Comment

Re: CPU vs. CPU in offline franchise mode? (Madden NFL 15)
In my humble opinion, unless someone new takes over CFM, we will not be seeing this feature returning. Josh Looman has a philosophy and come hell or high water, he's going to stick to it despite any criticisms that has been made well aware to him over the last three years. I'm not attacking him, but that's exactly what has happened. It's a fact. Whatever the reason, he refuses to put it back in CFM. Again, nothing against Looman. He just has a different philosophy than the last person in charge of franchise mode and it isn't resonating with some in the Madden community.Last edited by PatsSB2015; 08-15-2014, 08:45 AM.Comment

Though I'm not accusing you of attacking Looman, I certainly don't have a problem with it. If it's his doing then the criticism is well deserved. Think about it. Who are these games being made for? Us right? Then it should feature reasonable features we want and ask for and if not all anger, frustration, hate, whatever is expected and deserved. Why make a game for the people yet completely ignore the cries of the people?! Makes no sense...Comment

If you all have some spare time I think the "minority" of the sim community should put nothing but CPUvCPU (Authentic Replication) on their Youtube accounts...Comment

CPU vs. CPU in offline franchise mode? (Madden NFL 15)
So as 2k is currently working on their upcoming NBA 2k15 title, they are simultaneously interacting and seeking feedback from the community on options and additions down to the very little nitty gritty things. Some things that's great to be able to add or have the option but you might not even use....yet they are taking the time to add it in by user demand. The following post is just one, ONE, example of many in another thread I'm following:
Some good news for you guys.
As requested, we have successfully added the ability to manually assign injuries (including their duration) to players. This can be done outside of MyLEAGUE as well, meaning shared rosters can have these values set as well.
In addition, we also added a new option in the setup menu of MyLEAGUE that allows you to decide whether or not you want to start the mode with the injuries assigned in the roster. Default behavior is to wipe all injuries such that everyone starts healthy.
There is one thing we have been discussing internally and have been split on; would love some opinions from the community. As I mentioned in the original interview, one feature in the Injuries 2.0 system is that players will wear appropriate accessories when recovering from an injury (e.g. sprained knee). If you manually assign an injury to a player, would you expect that player to then be automatically equipped with an appropriate accessory, or would that be a little too heavy-handed and taking control away from you?
Feedback welcomed. Hope everyone enjoys the addition!Last edited by Gravit; 08-16-2014, 01:48 AM.Comment

Re: CPU vs. CPU in offline franchise mode? (Madden NFL 15)
Is it possible for EA to patch offline season CPU vs CPU into the game after it comes out? I know they were able to patch in a broadcast ( weak as it may have been ) cam after release of Madden 10, why not spectator mode in offline season?
I remember about 5-7 years ago I used to comment on sites like this how I loved spectator mode and I would get lambasted for it. People were like, "What fun is that?" , etc, etc..... you know the hate. Anyway, over the last several years I have seen a tremendous uptick in how much love is out there for cpu vs cpu high intensity broadcast gaming. Threads like this are really picking up steam. How can Looman or anyone associated with EA, not take into account that the minority is rapidly reaching CULT status...LOL! He seems close minded and frankly it is probably time someone puts a Red Foreman foot in his a s s ..... he may be savvy, but he is indifferent to a growing community. He seriously does not get it.
PATCH IT MAN!!!!!!! 32 team total control and spectator mode in a regular offline season mode !!!!!!! DO IT!!!!! LOL!!!!!Comment

So I assume that with no CPU vs CPU again, that you can't do 'offense vs offense' again this year? Sometimes I don't fancy playing defense so I just control each team's offense in the game, really didn't fancy having to use 2 controllers just for that last year.Comment
