Re: CPU vs. CPU in offline franchise mode? (Madden NFL 15)
While we are waiting for an answer, tell me how the Cpu vs Cpu users play theit franchise? Do you simulate all the games? Play any? I usually play as my team, but watch the other gamrs. Like I'm scouting the competition.Comment

I do both , but mainly like to watch CPU vs CPU in the post season if my teams don't make it, lol, it helps you get into your franchise makes it more enjoyable to play for a few yearsGames I'm playing FOREVER: NFL2K5, That is all.Comment

Re: CPU vs. CPU in offline franchise mode? (Madden NFL 15)
Well, pre-Madden NFL 13 days, I would create my friends, put them on teams, assign the depth chart, watch all the pre-season, regular season, and post-season games. I would adjust the depth charts, releases, and signings as I saw fit during that time. In Madden NFL 12, I would adjust the ratings as well. Especially with actual breakout stars. Like Victor Cruz in the 2011 season.
Last year, I set what I liked and imported it into the season. I used the workaround method and let the chips fall were they may.
It would be nice to see how this method works in Madden NFL 15. I'm hoping the developers added the CPU vs. CPU method and doesn't use the excuse that it can't work do to the BS XP workaround.Comment

I like do all front office/GM moves. Scout/draft/sign realistically and wisely. Set depth charts based off experience, need, expectation, and previous years/preseason stats (all realistically). And only watch all games via CPU vs CPU including my teams.
It let's me see if I really made the right decisions in my franchise.

You guys aren't alone. That is exactly how I have played franchise mode in the NBA 2K series and most recently, MLB The Show.Comment

That's awesome! I understand EA wants to make a game for online players and a game for single player use, but there's no reason to omit the CPU vs. CPU feature from offline franchise. Expand, but do not omit a feature that every other sports game has.Comment

Re: CPU vs. CPU in offline franchise mode? (Madden NFL 15)
i view cpu v cpu like cpu v coach, in both cases sliders/settings should be the same for both teams, the only difference is i coach one and i watch the other, game film anyone?
i play offline owner/coach, build the roster, trade, change player position if appropriate, put on IR for next year like 49ers (cos i dont have PUP list), depth chart moves, subs in certain packages, custom playbook.Comment

I agree. I only want to call the plays if I'm actually playing. Otherwise, I like to see the CPU decide. I've watched some exciting games decided by the CPU. Especially with the Bears vs. Packers.Comment

I will make sure to ask once question requests happen on CFM. Others should do the same so it doesn't go unnoticed.Comment

Re: CPU vs. CPU in offline franchise mode? (Madden NFL 15)
This feature just has to come back. CPU games are the only way I play Madden. If EA wants to truly make a football simulation, and I assume they do or they would not have a broadcast camera, then CPU games in offline Franchise is a must. They just can't explain it away for why it isn't in Madden 15. I'd think it'd be easier to just put it back in... you know... like they did before.Comment
