you only get 6 hours to play the game lls. Thats what 6 games. I hope you didn't have to pay for that.

I paid for a year, upset about the time limit so short, but still like the ea access for the vault. The vault and early access is only reason I got it. I don't digitally download games so 10% means nothing to me.

Now I would pay for both ea access and season ticket if they will roll it over to Xbox one.

I think it was a pretty BS move for EA to attach a time limit for people who paid the FULL price for the EA Access program, AFTER they made the purchase.....knowing full well the only reason 99% of people purchased it to begin with was for early access to Madden. There was no time limit on Madden or NCAA the last couple years when you could get early digital access. It actually worries me about the quality of the game if EA is too scared to let you play more than six hours before the actual release. Are they worried people will realize nothing is different or things are WORSE if they allow un-times access? I have always got the EA early access yearly membership......I would NOT have purchased if I knew the access to Madden would be limited to 6hrs. Feel pretty swindled, but at least it's only $30 I guess.

If you were only interested in early access to Madden but where unclear on the limitations why did you not just wait to sub or do it by the month? Don't blame poor consumer choices and rash purchases on EA. I am not saying EA wasn't intentinally vague but consumers have some of the responsibility as well.

I hear ya man, and I totally agree that the consumer has their own responsibility to do their research. That being said, I looked back through the T&C's again, and still did not see anything about Madden 15 early access having any type of time limit. Also, the past two years I had the same program/subscription ( different name on 360, same program) to get early access to a digital retail copy of both NCAA Football and Madden and both had NO time limit on either game. I assumed this new, more expensive app/program would be the same way. It's no big deal really.....like I said, it's only $30. However, to some younger dudes working their way through school still, $30 could be a much bigger chunk of change......and if they're expecting for that cash to get them unlimited access to the new Madden, I can see it being a bigger issue. My main thing is, I can't think of a single good reason for EA to put a time limit on this, other than they are afraid of the game turning people off to the point they decide not to purchase the retail version outright. If that's the case, that is just sad and pathetic.......unfortunately, you can't put it past them.

When does it go live for the 6 hour play time anyway?

Re: Remember to close out the application when you are done playing on EA Access

I can see why they did the limit. I can also understand why people are upset over and I was one them because I thought we was getting full access to the game for 5 days. I know that's why I jumped on this ea access deal. To play games earlyvand play other games they add to the vault. But I also see a reason why they added the limit. A guy like my cousin can play threw multiple seasons in a day. He plays on like 3-5 minutes with the game on like Pro. And then not long after he brought the game he's trading it in for another game. He's a big football person but don't keep games very long once he's done with them. He don't play online and don't really play with anybody else. So he gets rid of his games very fast. So I think if you give a guy like him 5 free days of madden, he would probably be done with it in them five days and spend his money on something else. Just a thought though.

Not for nothing, but I also had (and still have) Season Ticket for 360 because it doesn't run out until next month. It was 20 bucks, 3 days early, and full access (with a few features, basically UT blocked). I only knew about the fact that they would limit some games to 6 hours from coming on here. Even on the actual app on Xbox One under member benefits they don't even mention it's limited at all. You have to understand, a lot of gamers and people in general, don't think people or companies are out to trick them. Or like in my case, we figure that the 6 hr limitation would be reserved for non-sports games that you can actually beat.

Personally, I'm annoyed with the limited access, but the vault is perfect for me because I have two consoles and can access this service on both and play FIFA, Madden 25, and Battlefield with my son. So basically it's 15 bucks per console, per year. I assume everyone, as a whole just wish EA would have been upfront with this information and that's why so many are upset. You have to understand, no one likes feeling like they were tricked, mislead, lied to, etc. This is nothing personal towards you at all, it's just my response to everyone with a post that's basically calling people out who are upset and who purchased this service. It's really just unfortunate that we gave "the benefit of the doubt" to them and they give us what feels like a "raw deal". A lot of folks were all-in just for 5 days early of Madden, I'm lucky that I actually enjoy the Vault games. Plus, I sold the Vault games I already owned and it was more than the yearly price of the service, so basically it's free. Still, I feel the way they marketed this was wrong.

Here is a screen shot from my TV, on my XBOX ONE, on my EA ACCESS account. This states what our "member benefits" are. On last paragraph with the header "Play First" it says nothing about limitations.

I wonder how time is tracked. Is it sent to EA over the web or is it local? What would stop someone from re-downloading the trial after it's over or just unplugging the Internet

Probably all governed by the EA Access app, just like Season Ticket gated past gen downloads. App not there or enabled and the trial probably won't start. Either requiring online connectivity and/or the app just keeps track locally.

Going to say this with the hopes of being wrong - the ways you're thinking of trying to cheat it have probably already been considered and countered, and then some.
