Ive done playbooks all being the same. All DBs with 75 or lower Catch. All QB's with + 2 accuracy for short, middle, deep and run as well as none with the force passes trait at aggressive. Ive made 32 coaches with their defensive aggressiveness at 1 and offensive aggressiveness at 99 and vice versa. None seem to produce good enough stats.

Did have Charles and AP run for 2000 in the same season.

It would depend in the run: pass ratio would be of the plays created. Changing the playbooks to maddens generic playbooks is only because there's a playbook with the right ratio of run ab pass plays. So when simulated the computer would choose more pass plays vs run plays for a west coast playbook just by chance. Bc there's that many more pass plays than run plays to be selected from. This is why I recommend switching books before games u play. If u play Denver Witherspoon the run n gun offense instead of their coaches book you'll get a lot of passing plays, but Denver's playbook prolly has a hundred pass playa to choose from while run n gun has a lot, but like 80 (hypothetical example) so you'll get a good experience but it's better if u put the coaches book back

im stitching up the roster a little bit more to try and see whats good with progression…if i can't do it without staying pretty true to players true ratings then id rather not do it at all…il check it soon

Hey does anyone know if EA fixed the 2 QB Connected Franchise roster glitch???

Online league I'm in requires everyone to carry 3 QB's. But if the error is fixed on this new Gen I'm hopeing i wont have to waste a roster spot on a 3rd QB lol

i working on the consistency and confidence ratings right now, it seems like you can crank them up like ten points and it doesn't affect overall rating..so I'm working on it..this could answer progression issues…peyton manning drew breed aaron rodgers consistency is all 65….tom brady as well..maybe everybody is idk…this might be the problem…with this not affecting overall rating i feel good about it if it sims out correctly…

everybody IS a 65 in consistency and confidence ratings…that might be why its a free for all 3 seasons in for starting spots

Double check your work on that. From my experience, whether by design or bug, confidence and consistency edits don't save and automatically revert back to 65 for everyone. I only found out that a bunch of test edits I made didn't save after I ran into the CAP confidence bug. Frustrating.

Or you could just drop catching slider to 25(granted you'll have more drops by wrs as well but thats football)... In fact, in madden 25 at least(maybe 15 as well), you'll get realistic stats setting it to all madden then make all the reg sliders 25(FOR BOTH CPU AND HUMAN). Kicking sliders are 50 fg power, 25 fga, 50 punt p, 100 punt a, 50 kickoff.

Peyton manning threw for 4800 yards on these, brees was right behind him. User will throw for more if than 5500 if you pass too much, especially if you're usering with elite offense. Otherwise every other stat comes in beautifully. 18 sacks for aldon smith, no more than 8 interceptions this season and rarely will you see people over 10 if that. Even return tds(both defensive and st) are kept in check for the most part. Have to be a supreme athlete to get more than 3 now and it wont be often.

Im sure these tweaks to the roster help, they just might not be needed with proper slider adjustments.

sliders dont affect simulated games do they?

They did fix it yes. I was playing against the chargers the other day and their QB got creamed and they had to play thier kicker the rest of the game

thanks dude, i think this game is straight up awesome though I'm extremely happy with it and i skipped madden last year

It seems the consistency rating saved but the confidence rating reset back to 50 for eveytrbody

The EA team mentioned that everyone starts with 50 confidence at the beginning of a season.

Anyone try this yet? Sounds like a way easier fix if it works.
