    I think it's better for the limited few just not to blitz, than have EA patch it and mess things up for everyone.
    I'm getting pretty good sacks numbers. Therefore, I hope that EA doesn't touch OL or DL play, but they should tune QB AI, especially on screens. If the fix that and tighten up coverage in the flats a bit, then this game will be pretty solid.

      HB screens or screens in general need a little tweaking.

      But that scares me, because screens will become the newest money plays if EA gets to it. lol

      We have to be careful what we ask for. I mean look at presentation. I just want to run plays, not sit through countless cut scenes.

      Then the people who ask for this crap, may play Madden until the newest game becomes available. *rant off.

        I control the CB so all sacks were from my CPU teammates. There is definalty an issue with sacks.

        The problem is not the pass rush. Is the QB behavior in the pocket. Sometimes they hold the ball to long.

        When is 3 and long is almost an instant sack. Same when the qb is on the red zone.

        If you don't see anyone open just throw the ball away. Please

        I tried every combination. Pb 100 pb 0, IG 0, 5 and 10

        Some qb play worst than others. I believe this is why.some people are not seeing that amount.

        Manning, flacco and kap are one of the worst in my experience. Maybe traits has something to so with it.

        Hopefully ea fix the qb behavior this was not an issue on last gen.

          This thread is funny. I get that we SHOULDNT have to edit rosters or sliders but if anyone did what I suggested on page 1 you would not see these issues. I for the life of me can't get a sack whether I'm user control Michael Bennett or dline or blitz. I get picked apart and have to strategically call plays to stop CPU. Every qb should have Paranoid trait and CPU pass block at 95-100. Mind you this is even with my player sliders at 99 pass coverage and 1 pass reaction and playing as Seahawks.

          Qb avoid pressure with paranoid trait and yes for throw away. Ball carrier vision for qb up at 95+ is huge in avoiding pass rush as well.

I should note that I play with the fbg edited rosters so that might play huge difference in realistic and balanced ratings and lowered ratings.

                I have found that putting HB route running rating at 99 helps with CPU screen passes. I did this in Madden 25 also. There are still times that the HB is covered and QB will take a sack, but it seems to help with the running back getting out more quickly and the QB will throw the ball before being sacked (though you will still see too many sacks on screens).

                    I agree the the roster edits are a bandaid at best. Most people who play CFM do so with the intention of playing multiple season. So, with the inability to edit incoming rookies it makes the roster edits pretty much worthless after a few seasons. I'm playing and enjoying an offline CFM but I know the stats are a joke and won't start my real CFM until there is a patch.

                      Here's a scary thought. What happens if we edit the quarterbacks like Vann was talking about, start our franchises up and then EA releases a patch to fix the problem. Do you think that would screw up our franchises?

                        No because the patch usually requires you to restart your CFM.

                          Not for gameplay fixes typically. We would have to restart because of the fix to sim stats though. But to see better QB AI would not require a restart.

                              What issue specifically?

                              I can think of 4 or 5 weird anomalies with this years sliders.

                              The most common one being that if you increase the CPU fumble slider the CPU RB will run more aggressively.

                                With the work I've put in on my roster, that would be a nightmare. I went through and cut down to 53 on every team before I started my offline franchise. Then, I set depth charts for all 32 teams and saved the game as a base so that I could always go back to that point and user control a different team from the start of the season if I wanted to. Took hourrrrrrs.
