Has any of you restarted a game because of 'Madden bulls**t' happening? I'm playing with the Bears against the Packers right now. Packers were driving down the field but we were able to force a fumble and create a turnover. That was challenged, even though I didn't see any challenge flag and it was not inside the last two minutes of the half. The replay showed a fumble but it was still overturned. Then on the very next play one of my defenders walked across the line of scrimmage while trying to get set and the refs threw a flag for encroaching even before the O-line was set. Of course the Packers scored an easy touchdown on the very next play. That was 'in the script'. Wondering if I should restart or if this sort of thing happens all the time and if I should just accept it and move on.. Playing on All-Madden btw.

Edit: Never mind. The game froze and made that decision for me...

Does anybody know if there is a way to make a TE your long snapper?? I know you can before you start a franchise but you cant once you start. You have to do it during the game in the depth chart men. Was just wondering if anyone figured out a way?

Has anyone tested CPU Draft Logic or noticed any trends when CPU selects draft picks? (I.e. Best Player Avail, Positions of Need, etc.)

I have a few questions about play now mode.

1. Can you use custom rosters in play now mode?

2. Can you play a Super Bowl game in any stadium with any team in play now mode with custom rosters?

3. Can you edit time of day and weather in play now mode?

So, in my CFM... the guy who won the superbowl before we started over is currently undefeated and steamrolled me.

For the life of me NONE of my defensive players could stay on their feet before being pancake smashed into the ground all game.

So i looked at the pancake block stats and his offensive line are all mediocre but his 5 offensive line starters are 1st - 5th and his backups are higher in pancakes than most starters. i have a center with 99 ibk and 97 rbk 92 str and he doesnt top half of his backups.

So i just noticed in my box score that he had 51 pancakes against me. WTH???

Do you guys have any idea of how this happened?

I believe the answer is yes in all three cases. Play now should take roster data from the active roster, so just make sure your custom roster is loaded to have it take effect.

For the Super Bowl/weather conditions, advance through the play now matchup screen (where you select which team you're playing on) and the next screen you should be able to choose what type of game it is (i believe they have exhibition, BCA mode, and also a Super Bowl mode) as well as what the weather is.

How do you change the camera in Connect Franchise? I'm running a player lock on my created QB and in-game I've done up and down on the D-pad, pressed in the right stick and did up and down on the D-pad (which it tells you to do this) and I've changed the camera in the menus, all to no avail. I just want the normal camera.

Every time I create a player they cant be found
on the team I put him on or in Free Agent list ...
Does any 1 know whats happening with this ??

Hi. Sorry if this isn't in the right forum. I have a question about stadium relocation versus stadiums just automatically closing. I finished my first offline season using the Buffalo Bills. After the last game of the season, Ralf Wilson Stadium closed and now I'm playing in a brand new stadium for my second season (still in Buffalo though) I did not have the 'stadium relocation' options set to off or disabled - would this have mattered? Or I'm wondering if the computer just randomly selects when stadiums close as it does with when players retire. Thanks!

Can you not restructure CFM player contracts until the last year of the deal?

I remember in Madden 12 I could take my most promising players and sign them to 7 year deals and I could offer a new contract at any point. Now the game automatically signs my draft picks to 4 year deals and I can't find a way to restructure with anyone that's not in their final year.
Tell me i'm overlooking something.

Nope, you've got it right. The earliest you can resign is week 1 of the season before contract expiration. This is definitely something that should be prioritized for 2017, but it's another thing that would have to be balanced right. Ridiculous cases of holding out like Chancellor (2 yrs into his deal) would have to be rare & rarely work in favor of the player, and aging vets looking to stay on a competitive team should be open to take pay cuts. And this would also bring up the issue of back/front loading contracts, etc.

I may have posted this in the wrong thread a couple days ago, but if anyone is familiar with running the Texas route concept in madden 16, please see below!

Has anyone seen plays using the Texas route concept, particularly involving the TE running a post and HB running an angle route on the same side of the field?

I've looked through all of the shotgun plays and most of the pistol plays and the best I've seen is a play where the TE runs a streak rather than a post. Would be interested to see a play from any formation that runs this concept though, as I'm planning on having an offense with a good receiving HB & TE.

Any help would be much appreciated, thanks.
