Altho if the early reports here are any indication it seems like the ratio between defensive holding/defensive PI is skewed a little too much toward holdings right now. But overall it is encouraging as penalties have really hurt the realism for me personally in past games

Defensive holding is called a lot more than actual PI in the real NFL. I would hope it would skew more towards holding than PI.

Has anyone noticed a fix in the computer qb completion percentages? Are they still consistently throwing 70%+

In my only game, Josh McCown went 12-25 for like 130ish yards with two ints. It felt pretty good. He took some shots on medium to long passes and missed his target a few times. In '15, almost every CPU QB would finish like 12-14 with 80 yards.

This gets me excited. I remember games last year when this very same Josh McCown would go 15-18 for 180 yards and 2 TDs. The 3 missed passes were undoubtedly dropped picks too. Were you playing on All-Pro by chance?

Played for a little bit last night and tried to get a quick one in for lunch but it says my trial expired. I guess you have to actually close the game out before turning your XB1 off?

Yep. Default all-pro. I was playing as Dallas. I turned the game speed to slow after about a quarter. I really liked how the game played out. I'm looking forward to playing against a team with a better passing game to see how that plays out.

Do you have Instant On enabled? If so then yeah it would work just like any other game.

Here's my thing: for whatever reason I got rid of 15' early last year. I think because I was playing a few games at the same time. This year I'm pretty much waiting on games from here in out with no single game dominating my playing time.

There are 3 big things working against me buying madden 16'.

1.) 15' still feels fresh since I barely played it.
2.) I have 15' already downloaded with an entire year left of EA access.
3.) I'm REALLY in the mood / ready for some football, especially considering the state of the rest of my Philly franchises.

I used to be a strictly online player. Between the lag and glitching and leagues being so strict and uptight, I've relegated myself to offline GM and custom rosters and sliders. And in all honesty, couldn't be happier.

All in all this is my rant leading into my next 9 hours of playtime with 16'. My limited time has me agreeing with a lot of sentiments that the game feels like 15' in some areas and minor-to-no upgrades in other areas.
But 15 has some serious issues never fixed, to name a few: sacks, sacks, sacks, way to many by teams and players that should not, crazy amounts per game. This seems fixed in 16. Almost no penalties in 15, 16 not only has penalties, but variety. All the sliders seem to actually work in 16 as well. Just wr catch needs to be toned down a bit and rushing on both sides needs a slight boost. I turn of new visual aids as well when playing.

This game runs as smooth as butter. Don't know what issues others are having....

Don't know what you are seeing.....smooth for me. I play on all-madden, so the catching graphics are turned off as are the kicking arc, etc.......

Even with those are on....no issues here. 60fps.

My situation is an Xbox One. I've only played a game and a quarter in AT&T Stadium and Levis Stadium and it does not maintain a consistent framerate. Not at all. Significant slowdown post-snap, especially on pass plays.

It has to do with ea access. I have similar issues.
