Madden NFL 16 Trial Available Now For EA Access Subscribers, Play For 10 Hours

Defensive holding is called a lot more than actual PI in the real NFL. I would hope it would skew more towards holding than PI.

Yeah I mean I was going to look this up but got lazy and didn't bother. The thing with defensive holding is that it's just a 5 yd penalty and first down, while def pass interference can result in huge plays for the offense. They are game changers. So I hope to see enough of them called this yr, cuz it's something that can drastically affect games in real life when it does occur


EDIT: Just looked it up, there were 235 defensive holdings in 2014 compared to 215 defensive PI. So fairly close. In 2013 there were actually more PI than holding. 247 to 181. I know they look at rule changes & nuances a lot season by season tho, and how they interpret and enforce rules etc

But def holding can really affect games also, for example 3rd down stop but def holding so drive continues and they end up with a TD. Just depends. Basically, hoping to see enough of each type

Loving this game so far. I only played as a CB, but man is it a lot more fun. The CPU QB actually throws it your way now and actually will try and get the ball to their best WR instead of just throwing slants or hitting the player that gets open immediately.

No they won't...that would eliminate a huge part of the Access, which is you get the game for 10 hours before the game comes out and get to carry over all of your files and **** to the real game with you, except for maybe UT stuff. I don't see them abandoning this for awhile.

Why can't you have both in play at the sametime? We're saying you only get unlimited play if you actually BUY the game. ALL EA Acces memebers would still get the trial. It's just more of an incentive to actually buy the game instead of only playing the trail.

I was only able to play with the steelers and cardinals how do you get to play with any team you want?

You have to wait until the DL is complete to play any team

Anyone else rushing through the menu to get there full 10 hours...

On a side note I'm loving the new madden, this is all new to me as I've been playing on Xbox 360 and played very little 25 or 15 my last major madden gameplay was 13, as I was playing it last week... But now on to X1

In your opinion would you say gameplay and graphics have improved compared to 15? I have read several people say it's madden 15.5. It's hard to get a good read with the video quality.

Just finished a franchise game as a corner on the Raiders. Derek Carr was 1 for 2 for 1 yard after three quarters haha. Finished the game 3 for 4 for 34 yards. 6 minute quarters. Pretty ridiculous EA.
