I thought last year's opening was great but wow, the intro really blew me away. I didn't think the graphics were gonna impress me but the lighting makes such a difference! !!!!!!! this is the best looking Madden easily, and I didn't think so before actually getting hands on.

I love the banter between the players in the intro, I would love every close game to feel like that, but I can see it becoming a nuance after the first couple times.


So far only played the intro but the game feels like its moving at 60 fps, just smoother than usual.

Im going to learn the basics then play Vs against my brother. So far I'm liking it and I was on the fence before

I love how you have to do a hard reset AND disconnect the power supply (not sure that step is mandatory but whatever) just to get passed the initial loading screen is friggin bogus, especially if it's a known issue to EA. Which it seems it is, since the fix I found was a post from the same issue last year... EA making sure to milk every second from us.

Even that eternally drawn out, contrived to the enth degree, "Super Bowl ". Which imo is going to be the new norm, to take advantage of us timed users and EA access.

First things first... Fast, aracdy, glitchy. I'll hold my judgment til a few games have been played and sliders have been slid. First impressions are not great though to be honest.

Stop on a dime? That has sort have been a problem. Momentum prevents
HUMANS from stopping on dime like u could do in previous Madden's.

if you are a good back like Adrian Peterson you are able to make those jump cuts almost instantaneously. This game is doing that canned animation thing, which I'm not a fan of. Then again the passing controls are overly complex, catching is simple, but actual passing is ridiculous. You used to be able to just past the ball high but tapping up while throwing. Now you have to hold RB to do the exact same thing. Its not very intuitive in my opinion. I was over here thinking about the controls more than trying to play the game.

I feel video games should be pick up and play with simulation aspects. You shouldnt have to earn a degree to play the dang game. This madden is my least favorite I have ever played

I started my download 3 hours ago and am only on 4 percent. Guess I'll just leave my xbox on throughout the night and hope it finally downloads by the time i get home tomorrow. At least it's helping save more of my 10 hours for the weekend!

Crazy bro, but I feel the same way. Im going to hold my judgment, until I see everyone running the same plays over and over and get sick of it like I did last season. Ill be happy for now as long as they got rid of the over the middle cheese, and lbs jumping for balls going 20 yards behind them.

Damn Bro 5 and out that's too bad. If $60 makes or breaks you, it's probably better to get another job and spend less time playing games anyway.

I like it so far been playing the XBOX1 version through EA cause its only way to play but will buy on PS4 no problem. This game is never perfect but year after year it seems to get a little better as long as they don't revamp game play. If i wanted the perfect football experience I'd get my football and go play at the park. It's a fun game I enjoy it every year and it fills time till NBA2K comes out.

The whole reason I don't like it is because it feels like 2ks canned animations opposed to a free flowing game. I purchase 2k every year, but the 2 man canned animations suck all the fun out of it for me, just like the animations suck and pull each other together.

Making the game complex is very different than making the controls complex. You were pretty much able to have the same control over where you place the ball except it was with the left stick. Now its LB and LT for high and low placement. Thats unnecessary imo. Could've kept it how it was, but added the catching controls like they have and the medium pass that the added. I feel those were the only necessary changes to passing controls.

I heard in another post that u can spend another 5$ n get another 10hrs n u can create a different profile n than switch it over to your main account, if anybody knows exactly how to do it can u please explain to me

Going to play a head to head versus another player in the online CFM I'm in and mess with sliders. I will give it a second look, but right now I'm not a fan. I mean its the same with BO3 for me not a fan of the beta either. It feels somewhat cartoony like they took a crackdown approach to it..

I'll be watching. Any chance you can upload whatever you do slider wise so I can download on Friday? Didn't know if you'd be on it right away, but I always play with a modified version of your sliders every year.
