I feel like i am a pretty good player but I want to make sure I have all the bases covered when it comes to the offensive line. My favorite player in the NFL(now that Ray is gone) is Marshal Yanda and I want to get the most out of him and the rest of the Baltimore Raven line. What are the best strategies on maximizing offensive lineman in the run game? What are the best plays for utilizing an entire line that comes with 85+ impact block? Will my love of zone blocking be rewarded or is the game's blocking not that complex yet?

I'd use power run plays , toss sweeps , trap blocking, HB/WR screen's with that 85+ impact blocking I same here like to utilize the Ravens o-line by doing zone schemes ,dives, etc

Does "X" or "square" work as a pass defense mechanic too? I swear when I use it, my DB goes to swat the ball. Could just be coincidence though.

How do you disguise your defense? I know last year there were a few plays designed to do this, but they were few and far inbetween. Is there a way to disguise any defense? If so , teach me how please.

I don't think there is a way to say show cover one when youre really in cover 2. It's something that needs to be added back along with defensive assignments

I like every run, i just wanted to know if in this years madden there is any added complexity to the line play and learn some of the best plays for an offensive line that has 85+ impact blocking across the board and 92+ run blocking from LG to RG, especially zone plays. Thanks in advance.

I live in zone run scheme ever since Baltimore made the transition, but the playbook is pretty basic and bare in terms of zone runs. Was wondering what are some other great zone run plays that can be used, especially for a line like Baltimore's. I'm in search of details like how weak zone gets your TE to peel off and get to the next guy, but perhaps for inside zone running.

Best way to stop quick toss?

Best way I have found is with the corner coming on a blitz.

If you send both corners you will have a better chance in picking the right direction

i guess this is the place to ask. regarding the new mechanics for defense this year (play ball, vs play the player).

I always play as a CB/S does the swat ball as it used to be is still there?

What i have seen is that play the ball goes for the pick, while when you want to play the receiver, it try to "strip" or break the play after the receiver get the ball or as soon as the receiver gets the ball.

What if i want to play the ball but i don`t want to intercept the pass, just deflect the pass, as it was in past versions, i would press swat button.

Is that possible? or i`m obligated to go for the pick if i want to play the ball, and if i want to strip, break up the play i have to wait for the receiver to get the ball and then player the receiver?

Hard to explain but i hope you get the idea.

Just hit the Y button or Triangle while on defense, the do a base align.

I usually call a CV3 to give a CV2 look.

You got it right. You can use the X button to swat or square.

On Xbox:

A=Play receiver. Good for securing tackle. If you miss the swat on play ball, you still have a shot at the tackle.
Y= Play ball. used when you can get an INT
X= Swat. Used when you want to play it extremely safe. IF you miss, you won't tackle the WR.

What's the best way to quick pass offenses. I always get beat by these short underneath routes and quick out routes. Even when I press my corners are always two feet behind guys who run these 6 yard drag routes.
