Nope.... Definitely not there, and no pass/fail feedback either. But I get weekly/milestone goal feedback.

Does it not happen as an owner or in preseason? Because those are the only differences I can think of other than online vs offline, and I'm sure it's not online only.

I started a single player ONLINE CFM yesterday and played my first game. Got smacked 33-6 by the Jags on All-Madden, Denard Robinson had 4 TD's and over 100 yards, but for some reason when I checked the depth chart during the game a few times, there was no progression or regression for any players on both teams. I checked after the game too and saw nothing.

Not sure if I was looking in the wrong area, but in last years game you could see the regression and progression of players in the depth chart screen. I'll be playing another after work so I'll see if anything changes. I just found it odd.

I think it depends on what the goal is and what it will progress. I didnt think it was affecting my players either until i got a goal for 2 sacks with muhammad wilkerson on the jets and went to depth charts. Had to scroll all the way to finess and power move stat and bothjumped to 110 and 103 and every le and re players went up from it even guys on the bench. So sadly ill will have to wait for a patch now also to play my cfm

I wish we had the option to just turn these off. Saw a post earlier that referred to how people will start focusing on these drive goals instead of the realism of the game, and I agree. I just want realism, I don't want these drive goals.

So is the temporary workaround to just start an ONLINE CFM instead of OFFLINE?

I honestly find it hard to believe issues like this make it into the final product of madden. If people in the community are able to find issues like these, im sure the actual people who programmed the game should be able to. At least Rex is acknowleding that there is an issue, and hopefully the patch doesnt screw anything else up. We know some patches in the past have caused some more issues, so hopefully this one goes smoothly

It seems to be prominent in offensive lineman. Greg Robinson went from 70 something pass block to 52 pass block on my test CFM.

Apparently, it doesn't matter....on another thread it's being advised to hold off starting a franchise until a patch is released. So basically the game is broken for a 100% offline franchise player. Beyond ridiculous that a mode that size would be unplayable out of the box.

I'm enjoying the in game progression. I've noticed that even when certain intangible stats go over 100, the overall of players who normally aren't that great doesn't jump tremendously. Also, why not adjust in game to reflect a great performance.

EA, if you want to adjust this, just give those unhappy with it the ability to turn it off.

Assuming default sliders and setup, this bug is happening basically across the board (I haven't heard anything to indicate its less than 100%), so wouldn't it seem a little odd that such an experience altering problem make it through the testing process? To me, if any developer ran through a few games on cfm (I would do this anyway just to play with the new features and possibly find other bugs... And reported it as hours worked to get paid for playing madden) this would show up. It could just be that all long term cfm bugs are given regression testing with a program as you suggested but again that implies that no one actually launched their own cfm by hand and used the product they were creating, even if only to screw around a little bit. Could it be that with the rise of IAP and the success of mut that cfm now gets that little attention?

Sorry for the late reply, just seeing your question now. All I can say is that I don't have much of an answer. It depends on aspects of their development process, how they organize the entire development staff into area focused teams and how they have architected the game into independent, but inter-communicating modules. All of which I have no clue. All I can say is there are probably many logical ways those factors could play out that might have made this particular type of bug easier to miss, while making other types easier to catch.

The workaround is to play "play now", and write down all of your stats. Play 16 games and there is your regular season. Up your difficulty for 3 games to simulate playoffs. When done, do the same thing but pick a different user team to simulate the draft.

/sarcasm... But sadly, not really I left my '15 cfm for this

is this regression on a per game basis? if he regresses from 70 to 52 on my game today, after advancing, is he still regressed, or does he come back for the next week?
