Re: Auto Sub sliders still not working in CFM
Here's the thing, you shouldn't have to jack up fatigue in order to see substitutions. The more you jack up fatigue the more you see positions, like OL, come out of the game even with an auto sub setting of 0/1. I am picking the game up when I get out of work and I'll be testing some auto sub settings.Comment

Re: Auto Sub sliders still not working in CFM
You might get more RB subs but you wont get the actual benefit of Running Back by committee of keeping both backs super fresh all game while pounding the run.
You won't have a good defensive line rotation like many teams have.
You won't have o linemen that stay in the game no matter what.Comment

It's still a cosmetic fix that doesn't really change the problem.

The CPU and myself have been on multiple 9-10 play drives in CCM. With fatigue set at 60, I'm getting:
2-3 plays with back up RBs.
2-3 w/ back up DL/LBs
0 plays with backup OLs.
That shows its doing what it supposed to do.
We need formation subs for it to be perfect but until then all I want is backups to come in on long drives and sub for tired players. That appears to be happening this year in CCM.Comment

Its not a cosmetic fix though. Fatigue sliders and auto subs arent meant to be a substitute for formation subs. They are supposed to sub out players when they are tired.

I want my backs and defensive linemen to stay fresh the entire game. If players are getting tired then its not the same. I want the slider to work finally after 6-7 years of beimg broken.Comment

Re: Auto Sub sliders still not working in CFM
Simplest way to find out if working is lower auto sub to 0 for RB..then run him play after play..if he doesn't sub out and color change goes blue then working..if not that it's broken again

Re: Auto Sub sliders still not working in CFM
What i did was to set auto subs at the same level as they are on Play now and they seems to be working much better than last year. So if you set the auto subs to the same levels as play now, you should see the backup RB taking a few carries.
Last year unless you rise it up to 95 or so you wouldn`t see this.
Also raising fatigue at 60ish level will also help.English, is not my first language.Comment

Re: Auto Sub sliders still not working in CFM
Are we still also importing sliders again?

Thats not realistic though but to each his own. DL substitute all the time because of fatigue.Comment

Turn fatigue back down and then test to see if importing play now sliders work at more than 60-80 (like 80-95 for running backs meaning the should sub out every 2-3 runs) then let us know.Comment

Re: Auto Sub sliders still not working in CFM
I have been playing with fatigue on default. The backup rb does get a few carries but not after 2 runs. It the same as play now. For what you want you will have to turn fatigue up I'm afraid.

Re: Auto Sub sliders still not working in CFM
Furthermore, yes DL sub all the time, but they DONT sub much at all in the game because the default slider/stamina levels for all players doesn't allow for that to happen. Unless the cpu goes on 5 min drive you might not see DL sub out at all. In the real game they sub out every 3-6 plays and some even quicker (ex-nose tackles). I can simulate that with sliders IF THEY WORKED PROPERLY.
And that is the issue here. Yes fatigue can make it seem a bit better, but it wont fix the problem that we all acknowledge. Auto Sub sliders are not working in play now like they do in CFM... AGAIN!!!!
It's been years, maybe like a decade since this issue has been here I really don't understand why it hasn't been fixed. All i would like is an answer or acknowledgement that they at least know it's broken.Comment

Re: Auto Sub sliders still not working in CFM
Didnt see it at all in the 3 games I played yesterday. During those long drives, I paused the game after each play to see if the starting OLs were still in the game and they were.Comment
