Re: Madden 2016 team specific playbooks / everything playbooks
Guys, what's the difference between generic playbooks and specific coach playbook???
Example, sine Pettine runs a West Coast offense, what's the different between his and the generic West Coast playbook?

Madden 2016 team specific playbooks / everything playbooks
I'm not looking at the playbooks so I can't answer this on a detailed level...but I'm sure there are a few differences in the formations selected and the plays available.
The biggest difference is in how the situationals are rated. Generic playbooks have more variety on 1st-4th down play calling. Team specific do not - you'll largely see the same plays over and over again if you're playing the CPU using the PB.

Re: Madden 2016 team specific playbooks / everything playbooks
Alright. Here is my take on the generic playbooks. Let me know what you think:
Arizona Cardinals- Run and Gun
Atlanta Falcons- west coast
Baltimore Ravens – balanced or west coast (Kubiak ran a WC offense last year but not sure if they will run it with Kubiak gone)
Buffalo Bills-run balance (Ryan moved from NYJ and at least from preseason it appears he will run a run focused offense)
Carolina Panthers -panthers
Chicago Bears - pass balanced (Changed from Run Balanced: The bears had the second lowest run % last year)
Cincinnati Bengals -pass balanced
Cleveland Browns- West Coast (Pettine runs a WC)
Dallas Cowboys-pass balanced (Sticking with Pass Balanced because this generic playbook has more formations (Singleback) that are similar to the real Cowboys playbook)
Denver Broncos-west coast (Kubiak runs a west coast offense. Still plenty of shotgun and single back for Manning to run in this playbook)
Detroit Lions – Lions (I think this can stay the same since the Lions offense hasnt changed much under the new coach)
Green Bay Packers- run and gun
Houston Texans- Texans or Run Balanced(If you don't mind the overuse of 4 verts on 3rd and 4th and long, stick with the Texans playbookj
Indianapolis Colts – pass balanced (Not enough shotgun formations in Vermeil’s playbook. Colts have one of the lowest run percentages)
Jacksonville Jaguars- west coast - (No real RB, under 40% run ration and they run a few pistol plays = west coast. Also Gus Bradley’s O has been a west coast offense)
Kansas City Chiefs- west coast – (Andy Reid = West Coast)
Miami Dolphins- Run and Shoot – (This is a tough one: Philbin used to
run a west coast offense but that changed two years ago when Tannehill came in and he went to more Shotgun sets. RNS is the closest generic playbook to what Miami currently runs. Run and Gun is close but it has I formation, Wildcat and other plays that Miami doesn't run.
Minnesota Vikings – Balanced (I expect them to run more with AP back but I don't think their Run/Pass ratio will rise enough to make it a run only offense)
New England Patriots- balance
New Orleans Saints – run and gun (I hate that the Wildcat is in this playbook but everything else is perfect.
New York Giants- pass balanced
New York Jets- West Coast (OC Chan Gailey runs more of a spread offense but until I see them go with a majority Shotgun offense, I think the West Coast playbook is a better fit)
Oakland Raiders- pass balanced – (Oakland was last in run ratio and 4th in passes attempted. Most of that was because they were behind in a lot of games. )
Philadelphia Eagles- Run and Shoot (Closest generic playbook to the Eagles offense. No I formation, Weak or Strong,)
Pittsburgh Steelers –West Coast (OC Haley runs a West Coast scheme)
Saint Louis Rams-run balance
San Diego Chargers - West Coast (McCoy runs a West Coast scheme with a few more downfield plays. Pass balance is another option.)
San Francisco 49ers – 49ers or run balanced ( more passing on 1st and 2nd down)
Seattle Seahawks- run balanced
Tampa Bay Buccaneers – Run and Gun
Tennessee Titans- Pass balanced or Run and Gun (Run and Gun if you want Pistol plays.)
Washington Redskins- West Coast (Gruden runs the WC)
MLB: Pittsburgh Pirates '90
NFL: Miami Dolphins '84
NBA: Minnesota Timberwolves ' 15
CFB: Oregon Ducks '10
I HATE TO LOSE MORE THAN I LOVE TO WIN

I assigned Pittsburgh the west coast playbook because their offensive coordinator runs a west coast offense. I took a look at the west coast playbook and it's not much different than the team playbooks. There are a ton of 4 verts on 3rd and 4th down. They have a ton of run plays on 1st down.
The big difference is that the generic playbooks haven't been updated with the shot plays. So u are less likely to see the cpu take a deep shot on first or second down.
I actually saw this play out when I played the steelers with them using a west coast playbook. Ben didn't take any attempts over 15 yards and most of the plays they called were short plays. With that said, there were no 4 verts plays called.
At this point, we may just be better off sticking with the team playbooks.

So I took a deeper dive into the generic play books and I don't know what to do at this point. Here is what I did:

The generics should have gun formations EXCEPT for the West Coast book...
That one is set up like old skool WC, that didn't use shotgun...
Once again, I'm away and can't check them, but I'm pretty sure the rest of the books will have them...
They haven't changed the generics...well, pretty much ever really...
VERY nice job on the list, BTW!Comment

Re: Madden 2016 team specific playbooks / everything playbooks
Just finalized my Falcons playbook and uploaded it to Madden Share.

File name: CPUATL
Description: Operation Sports official playbook of the Atlanta Falcons. Rated and game plan optimized to get a great game from the CPU. Will be updated.
That completes the NFC South. I'm going to try and download these 4 playbooks to a flash drive and host them online for those stuck with Madden Share not working. Will let you know.
Lunch time and then I'll go to work on Eagles/Cowboys.

Re: Madden 2016 team specific playbooks / everything playbooks
About halfway done scouting the Eagles. They really love to spread the ball all over the field. It's no wonder their offense is so tough to stop. Constant no huddle and attacking multiple players each drive with lots of runs, fakes, crossing routes, deep, short, middle...truly an unpredictable offense.Comment
