I have a question about the Oakland defense. I'm watching the game right now online and can see that they're putting only 3 down in several instances, with Smith and Mack both standing up. Then, on long downs, one or both will put his hand in the ground.

Given that the default playbook is 43, I'm wondering if one of the hybrid books would be more appropriate, and if so, which one? Or perhaps a 34 book with a single set in it with 1 OLB in a down set.

Swagger or other observers, what do you think is the most accurate rendering of what OAK is doing in terms of default playbooks?

I would try either hybrid D Pats or maybe even Green Bays

Yeah that's actually Belicheck's new formation. NFL says the invisible players are technically allowed but really frowned upon.

My custom audibles routinely go haywire in my custom playbook mid-game. I made a thread http://www.operationsports.com/forum...les-stick.html (which has been ignored, lol) and posted it in the bugs/glitches thread.
Is there a way to set audibles in a custom playbook, save them, and have them stay that way in offline CFM games? I do it all like you're supposed to do in the Customize->Edit Off/Edit Def-> Audibles screen.
Maybe there's a workaround?

Hey guys, guess what? Uploads are working. They must have fixed it with the newest patch. Pretty happy with EA to finally see that Upload Complete after my daily attempt.

NFC North is on share. Updated the Packers to try and feature the trips form they featured on Monday night a little more.

Sorry whoever downloaded the Packers, my edits I accidentally saved under a different name. Now it's updated with the 2 new trips forms in, plus a couple bubble screens. The bubble was as close as I could get to the play Cobb scored on 3 times. BTW, does anybody know of a trips form that has a non play action bubble screen? I didn't find one.

Forgive me if this has been asked but has anyone had an issue where the playbook won't load? I've been using the Giants playbook that Swagger created & when I get into a CFM game it's the default Giants playbook. I have the downloaded playbook assigned in the settings so I'm not sure what could be happening.

They load fine for me... Is his book much different from the default? Most of what we're doing is changing gameplans so that the CPU uses our books better. My actual changing of what's in the book has been minimal, a formation of two if at all. EA actually has done a great job building these playbooks in my opinion. They just left the job half done. So without us some of those plays they added that are exactly what the real team runs won't ever be called by the CPU.

OK, also in cfm you can check right before the game starts. Hit X instead of options at the team select and it'll bring up the advanced options and what playbook you're using.

Got a chance to take a look at your Lions, Bears, and Vikings playbooks.

Excellent work, my man! The amount of variety is astounding. It's obvious you put a TON of work into these!!

One question I have for you or anyone else making these playbooks: are you seeing a balanced run/pass ratio from the CPU opponents?

I've heavily favored running plays in some of these playbooks on 1st down (especially for a team like the Cowboys who run on first down at least 80% of the time)...but am not seeing nearly enough 1st down runs from the CPU.

I checked their team scheme to make sure it wasn't out of whack...and it was balanced offense. So not sure why I'm seeing so many passes. Any ideas??
