The one I just got in my new franchise is a soccer player playing WR at OU. It mentions his agility, so my guess is he will end up being a return specialist type guy with very meh hands.
It would be hilarious if he comes out with awesome kickings stats though.
I am simming this first season while just doing scouting, so I think I am going to actually take note of the draft stories and pay attention to the players post draft. I'll let you know how it pans out
EDIT: He's actually already a projected first rounder (balanced type). Scouting him it shows he has B+ spec catch. Since he was a soccer player I was kind of expecting him to not have good handsLast edited by Robo COP; 11-21-2015, 04:19 AM.Comment

hey guys, looking to get Madden this year after many many years away (sim gamer)...looks like they are shaping things up...but i have a question...
rookies aren't overpowered are they? getting draft classes right is crucial to longevity.Last edited by Sportsfan1889; 11-21-2015, 10:50 AM.Comment

Wow that's pretty amazing... How did he go in the 7th round? His pbk and rbk would have been scoutable, showing A- for both, which is outstanding at any position. Are you in a league with only CPU, or some users?
@ Scooby- i saw a 95 FB, but he was pretty meh (slow, mid 70s in most relevant attributes)Comment

Post patch. Some work to do on the RB with his elusiveness and awareness. But two gems I found. not a good qb draft this draft. Have control of 4 teams, jags are one of them, did find a qb in the 5th that turned out to be a mid 70.Oakland A's - Seattle Mariners - Detroit TigersPittsburgh Steelers - Green Bay PackersDetroit Red WingsComment

It's a beautiful thing when the rookie LB you're grooming for a starting spot smashes the KR on the opening play of the season and makes him cough up the rock for a TO.Jordan Mychal Lemos

Do this today: Instead of $%*#!@& on a game you're not going to play or movie you're not going to watch, say something good about a piece of media you're excited about.
Do the same thing tomorrow. And the next. Now do it forever.Comment

Before patch, rookies at some positions had amazing physical attributes (WR speed), but I think the physical stats are pretty balanced now. Also before the patch, player progression was difficult, which makes rookies pretty difficult to work with, but now there are sliders to help correct this problem.
So imo, how good rookies are depends on how you set the XP sliders.Cow. Boys.Comment

Re: Madden 16 CFM Draft: Biggest Freaks/Studs/Gems in
I got a QB and RB in last years draft class and at the end of the second year. they were already an 88 and 90 respectively.
Will Clarke--3rd round: Maryland
6'0'' 215
TP- 93
TOR- 90
PA - 71
SHA - 88
MEDA - 88
DEEPA - 76
SPEED - 88
Beast
Quay Arrington--2nd round: Ohio State
5'9'' 234
SPEED - 90
AGI - 94
ACC - 93
TRUCK - 91
VISION - 91
CARRY - 91
Both undersized players but still performing at high levels. Too bad this was before the xp patch so the development is pretty slow, even with Superstar developmentComment

What is the fastest you guys have been finding as speed backs lately?Comment

Re: Madden 16 CFM Draft: Biggest Freaks/Studs/Gems in
4 RBs in the draft class with 90+ speed (3 90s and 1 91). The 3 90s were later round picks (I think one was 4th, rest were 5th or later) and all are mid 60 ovr.
The 91 speed guy was a late 1st rounder by the Redskins. 91 speed but only 89 accel. 78 ovr.
No true speed backs in the draft class at all. I am hoping it was just a bad draw for the draft class, but if maddens track record is any indication, I doubt itComment
