Nice draft kenp86 i would be worried about the QBs injury rating but you can get that up easy since hes a QB. and yes the drafts are random chjcj

Yes but their are guides out there that tell you what each grade translates into.

So Lasto, heres my delimma now... I have Manziel built up to a 91OVR and hes 24YO now, contract year coming up next season and a top 5 pick this season.

The top QBs of the draft are....

                  QB 1- A THP B+ ACCMid B- ThrowRun (StrongArm)
QB 2- A- THP B ACC short B- Consistency (Balanced)
QB 3- A THP A- Consistency B ACC Short (Pocket)

I really want a running QB to do designed runs with but QB3 looks good bc of the high consistency rating. Does it seem to you early on that QB1 will be fastest of the bunch because of his throw on the run?

You should be able to wait to resign manziel until the combine numbers come out and you can determine his speed.

I just completed my 4th cfm draft and would like to share some general observations I have noticed, corroborated by many of you on here. I'll go in loose order by position.

QB - Appears to be where some of the biggest freaks can be found. QBs with 90+ speed are common, occasionally reaching 95.

RB - Rather disappointing. You will have your strong RBs with 88 strength, but the fastest is going to tap out around the 92 speed range. For speed backs it is best to convert WR.

WR - Some solid speed guys can be found in every draft, usually 96+ including bigger receivers. However, no true freaks like last year IMO, because I have yet to see a receiver over 6'4" and yet to see one greater than 6'1 with better than 91 acceleration, all the tall guys with high speed have poor acceleration and agility. Also, I have yet to see any guy with a A- or better rated attribute.

TE - Plenty of 6'6" guys, but no one 6'7" like you would see last year and I have yet to see a TE with greater than 86 speed. Same with TE, I have yet to see any guy with a A- or better rated attribute.

OL - Plenty of strong and quick guys this year, although I have yet to see better than 95 strength.

DL - Weak in general, you will see the occasional 95 strength. They do produce some nice acceleration DTs, no freak DEs that are either really strong or really fast, mid 80s speed is not uncommon.

LB - Smattering of guys in the high 80s and low 90s speed. Yet to see anyone over 91. Plenty of A attributes, usually tackle or pursuit. Have yet to see anyone with A rated hit power.

CB - Tons of freaks here. You regularly see 96+ speed with 80+ strength. A good position to convert to safety, maybe an LB depending on the style of defense you play and RB, although I have never seen any with good enough agility or elusiveness.

S - IMO the worst position group. Have never seen better than 91 speed, or 80 strength. Also, I have never seen A rated hit power or coverage of any kind.

I hope this helps in planning your draft and with the roster construction of your franchise!

Posted this in another thread - but drafted a QB in the 3rd round with 95 speed, 89 accel/agility and 85 elusiveness.

I've noticed that his cutting ability is similar to Dan Marino in the open field. When I cut up the field or towards the sideline, my guy basically stops.

Is this dummy user error or am I missing an attribute here?

How are you cutting? Just rolling the stick vs slamming it one direction vs the precision control vs juking. I have noticed that guys with less than amazing agility and elusiveness seem to be stuck in mud when I use the precision modifier.
