Re: Madden 16 CFM Draft: Biggest Freaks/Studs/Gems in

Hit some home runs in my last CFM draft.

    QB Claudeson Ayers - 93 THP, 89 SA, 90 MA, 76 DA, 94 SPD, 89 AGI, 88 ACC, Superstar development (3rd round, 6th pick)
    WR Malcolm Trammell (6'2", 201 lbs) - 97 SPD, 95 AGI, 96 ACC, 87 CIT, 86 SPC, Superstar development (2nd round, 6th pick)
RB Jermarcus Moss - 90 SPD, 96 AGI, 94 ACC, 76 STR, 95 Juke, Superstar development (3rd round, 8th pick)

Forget stocking up on 1st rounders. I want as many picks as possible in rounds 2-4 as that where the real value appears to be.

S - IMO the worst position group. Have never seen better than 91 speed, or 80 strength. Also, I have never seen A rated hit power or coverage of any kind.
I'm currently in my 5th year of my CFM and so far there hasn't been any freak QB's which has been disappointing. There's been one guy with 89 speed, but other than that, wasn't great. Still looking for that first 90+ speed one.

As for TE I drafted one that had 87 speed (the fastest I've seen), 86 agility, and 85 acceleration. Still at 6'6". His catching attributes weren't off the charts by any means but his speed makes him a beast.

And the fastest safety I've seen so far is 86 twice. One FS and a SS. I'd love to see someone reach 90 or even 88.

Other than that the drafts seem to be pretty consistent for what people find.

I actually found that QB with my Lions in the third round in my first draft. Look back on page 14. 91 speed. Surprisingly, I havnt ran with him through 4 or 5 games yet.

It is slower compared to past Maddens but I do think it is an improvement.
I'm not in front of the game now so I am only going by memory, but here are some of the rookies I drafted and how they progressed (* indicates superstar dev):

WR OJ Tate: came in as a 80 ovr I think. At the start of his 3rd season he is now a 88.
WR Cedric Crosby*: Started as a 78. At start of 3rd season he is a 84

For both WRs I made sure to improve their traits early on, giving them catch traits and feet in bounds traits. Had I instead put that XP into ratings their overalls would be higher

HB BJ Duncan*: Started at 77, is now a 80 in his 3rd year
I saved XP to get speed from 87 to 90, then boosted his awareness and catch related ratings. In this instance his overall is very misleading (scheme set to one cut back).

LT OJ Spain: Started as a 78, now a 82 in his 3rd season
RT JT Roberts*: Started as a 81, now a 84 in his second season

First thing I do for linemen is get their discipline trait up. Generally it is a littler harder for me to progress these guys because of their season goals. I'm not gonna pass for 5000 yards with Joe Flacco and the only way I could reach the running yard totals is if I play 15 minute quarters.

CB Kendrick Scott: Started around a 81, is now 85 in his 3rd year
I think corners are very difficult to progress because of their reliance on interceptions. There was little growth between years 1 and 2. Luckily Scott had 7 in his second year and that is the reason for most of the improvement I think.

If you don't start the rookie the development is almost non-existent.

                            Had a monster draft in my league last week. SS DT(early 3rd, B+ PWR/BSH, 78ovr), LT(early 2nd, 80-84 all 3 blocking, 92 STR), DE (early 4th, 92 STR, 88 BSH), fast dev TE(early 2nd, 87 SPD, B catching stats, 78 ovr) and a great QB (80 ovr) and OLB (below).

Can't figure out how to include more than 1 attachment so just put in the OLB since he's the biggest "freak"

Both have SS development and that is my 2nd SS QB in 2 drafts, both were taken in the 3rd round. I didn't need Garcia but I had a feeling he was going to be good and didn't want any other teams to have him.

I don't know if anyone else has seen this but in the draft stories they talked about a guy not being able to participate in the combine because of an injury he sustained in a pickup basketball game. When I checked him out though he had all of his combine scores.

Bigginz im really thankful for the QB pic lol,i was concerned that a strong arm or pocket passer couldnt have decent speed.... i saw a pocket passer with 95 speed but i thought it was a "one-off" but im enthused... if theres a top qb with a good combine its a done deal.

My CFM is advancing to round one of the playoffs tonight so i wouldnt be shocked if the superbowl is tomorrow
