I didn't notice him away from the boundary, but I wasn't actively seeking it out.

One of my peeves in Madden has been how any User defenders can ad lib like Troy Polamalu, with little to no consequences, regardless of their players assignment/responsibility within the play called.

Do these changes potentially effect that in anyway and if so, how?

Edit: Just saw jfsolo asked something similar but I would still like further clarification if possible.

Lol. THIS is a good question. Based on the better overall tackling I saw in M16, I would hope NOT!!! However, if this occurs, man, oh man, will that look ugly. 'Hey fellas, don't mind me, I'm just having a tackle battle with the RB. Don't bother helping out, it will be over once I press this button'. Lol

Can backs make one cut, plant their foot and hit the hole with explosiveness like Ezekiel Elliot?

I don't know that the locomotion has been tuned in such a way that would satisfy you, with the way this question is worded.

Yes, provided you're not sprinting, of course.

Just got confirmed that auto flip flips responsibilities ONLY, not positioning.

Also, to clear something up: tackle battle, in essence, replaces the 1-1 dice roll broken tackles that would happen in the game with something interactive. It's not long and drawn out like Pro-Tak used to be. It's contact>button>result in a few frames.

So basically if I'm quick enough I can break every stand up tackle regardless of ratings?

With new gap play Did you feel a diffrent in types of players or ratings ? Dallas Cowboys offence line or Denver front 7 ? Did they feel more like there real life counterpart ?

                        In theory, yes.

Just like in theory you can shoot 100% from the free throw line in 2k with Deandre Jordan.

There's an element of player control to it, but the randomized button presses keep you from spamming, and if you try to guess it and guess wrong it's an instant fail.

I think blog said rating and lower body weight matter .but I'm sure price can give better feedback

We're kiiiiiiiiinda inching towards impressions here. The mechanics described in the blog work as they should, I'll just leave it at that.

It would have taken a lot more testing than I was able to do to determine this. Using a variety of runners, triggering certain tackle animations, over and over. Just not enough time.
