With the foley additions, does the game sound a bit more "NFL Films Mic'd up" now? Do you hear the crushing of the pads and the clanging of helmets etc?

Maaaan, I'm gonna cry if its custom draft classes.. These dudes are blowing me away this year though, I wouldn't even be surprised at this point.
I'm not even a presentation guy but all stuff today looked really impressive. And since its yours and Rex's favorite feature, it must be pretty well executed.
Excited about the franchise news.Comment

Not lol.
More like he can't answer one way or the other because the CFM blog hasn't dropped. Also, how is it realistic to pick your own time and weather? NFL schedules are set from April or May. We just need better generation.XBOX Series X Gamer Tag: AlsbronComment

Price, since the team at least alluded to the "Big Decision" CFM feature in the Mazique Podcast, can you tell us at least some general info about it? Not sure what you're allowed to talk about in relation to the team doing it.XBOX Series X Gamer Tag: AlsbronComment

Ah, man. Don't want to derail this thread, but just quickly, that was a first time implementation back in the day. That actually had a lot of promise to really feel like u were playing the game. Did it work great for a first time implementation? No. But, I give them major kudos for even attempting it back then. What was that? Xbox? Not even 360 yet and they made it work, sort of. Lol. I enjoy using the D cam in madden implemented last year which is almost a first person view. I'm pretty sure madden's not going for that right now.

Re: I've played ~40 hours of Madden 17: AMAlmost Anything (Answers in first post)
my guess would be .....
1) sports ticker with flashbacks to replays of other games going on much like they did in College football.
2) Custom playbooks like in Head Coach 09 along with setting your focus on training players with a certain time allowed each week on certain tasks much like in 2K5. You can choose whether your team is focused in the film room, or you can use up all your time having them conditioning in the weight room, etc. No point system anymore. Sounds like they are overhauling that feature from what ive heard in interviews. Maybe Hiring coordinators, special teams coach's, etc and allocating time to focus on how you want to shape your team. Every hire and decision you make will shape how your team grows and progresses. Youll either have the smartest unphysical team, or the most talented but dumb team.....its up to you and how well your coaching staff implements your plans.Comment

You really think Rex would want that in the game?

U know what was great about that mode was u could buy an air hockey table, and then actually play air hockey! Lol. It actually played fairly well, if I remember correctly. I'm not sure how many people would clamor for this type of mode, but it would actually go over well with the 'need for speed' type crowd that wants rims/wheels and crazy paint jobs for their cars. The one thing I really liked in Crib mode was simply the trophy case with all your achievements. That was a nice touch. I don't need this mode, personally, but I could see how the bling crowd would go for it, so it could actually be something they could add. This would give more marketing to casuals as well. Lol. Re: I've played ~40 hours of Madden 17: AMAlmost Anything (Answers in first post)
It can be a big problem with cover 6, 3 cloud, rip/liz cover 3. It will create major mismatches in coverage, such as a linebacker on a WR. If I call quarter-quarter-half, I want my cover 2 side to the boundary, cover 4 to the field. However, we cannot play it this way, because the coverage and front are now glued together. Just so you know, this is how cover 6 is run at every level of football. I don't have the time, nor the energy, to break all of this down. However, you can start by downloading Nick Saban's 2008 defensive playbook, and read how he determines strength of formation, and you will see where EA went wrong. Um... unless you think Anthony White knows more than Nick Saban.Comment
