In the original post when it was said that 18 was the one "they" we're excited about, there was ambiguity as to if that was the developers or the radio hosts. Also the posts about "bells and whistles" coming after "gameplay" and that the devs said gameplay came first. There was a lot of hearsay within hearsay the last couple pages. I'm not sure who said what, but what I do know is that it would be nice if people sourced the quotes they're referencing so we're not creating rumors.

Yea it did say that. I remember thinking he was talking about the Devs saying that.

Question for anyone who can answer, will Frostbite be the last engine for Madden this gen since they are bringing all games over. I'm asking because if it can't handle redoing gameplay animations, true step, etc ., it could be a huge setback if re-coding needs a more "Madden Only" built engine. Just asking.

I think the general EA idea is that everything goes to frostbite and it all gets updated together when frostbite gets updated.

And it's not like they haven't been planning and prototyping. If Madden is going to Frostbite, they already know whether or not it works.

Wow. Actually, I gotta say that's one of the best (if not the best) athlete's face in a game I've seen yet. If that's frostbite at work, get busy! I'm an avid Fifa online player and a madden offline player, so I can't wait to play both, of course. But, seeing this video really has me keen on Fifa again!

Hate to be that guy, but i remember getting pretty excited for the XBOX 360 hype video with Strahan and then the RG3...Hopefully the third time is the charm.

Dont get me wrong, anything to improve Madden, i am all for it, but these quick CGI/game play intro trailers usually are a little embellished.

Lol. Man, I remember that RG3 trailer, and honestly, I KNEW the game would NOT look like that based purely off of madden/EA's track record. So, I wasn't totally disappointed when the game out because I knew there was no way it would look that good during gameplay.

This has me very interested to see Fifa 17 create a player. I want to see if the look is just for certain stars, or if the upgrade looks just as good and detailed for custom players as well. Not just for Superstar purposes but Draft Classes, New Coaches, etc.

Once again madden 17 will be the big turning point to video game football and will keep us happy for a year . But madden 18 with frostbite will be the King of all football games .
