One thing I noticed last year was there was a lot of players who had low awareness and that a lot of times was why players didn't have a higher ratting. Like I had a MLB who was like a 78 ratting over all but if not for his awareness being like 60 he would have been more like a 82 or something. A lot of players awareness where in the like 40-60 range. Is it like that again this year? Or do more players have higher awareness but have some another ratings to lower there over all besides just awareness keeping there over all lower?

Re: M'17 Biggest Draft Studs and Freaks
This is very concerning. It was a big problem in 16 for me how easy it was to get franchise quarterbacks. This guy is 23 years old and I'd say best QB in the league already in his second season, should be generational but I have a feeling its every other draft like last year.Go Lions, Wings and Wolverines!Comment

Agreed. XP sliders should help. I haven't searched the menus for them yet. This is very concerning. It was a big problem in 16 for me how easy it was to get franchise quarterbacks. Re: M'17 Biggest Draft Studs and Freaks
As highly unlikely as this is, I would love EA to give the fans a chance to put their own faces in the game. If they want more diversity ask everyone to send in pictures of themselves and choose the ones they like. Just like how gameface works. For sure, some were lo-res and looked bad. And some didn't match the player's body type. But I would have rather them focused on improving those photos/adding new ones rather than switching to cartoon faces. Just seems to break the realism when you have a team mixed with real and cartoon photos. Just a personal opinion. Not the end of the world.
I know it'll never happen because it would likely be expensive, time consuming, and have a ton of legal issues but it's just a thought.Comment

Re: M'17 Biggest Draft Studs and Freaks
Definitely bittersweet. We have another 15 years with a Brady equivalent, and I am fine with that. But if that is the QB's ratings after a year, that's a bit too much. I don't think I'd have a problem with anything equal to or below an 89 after one year, unless there was a record-approaching season. You should get us his stats, Ninja. It seems that he was maybe an 85 when drafted, and he must have had an amazing season INCLUDING superstar development to become a 92 after one year. Hopefully Mr. Scott Easlick is an anomaly.Madden 17 Combine/Rating Correlation Project

Re: M'17 Biggest Draft Studs and Freaks
Or someone has edited ratings.... Not saying he did, but for both those guys to be like that I'd think it's less of an anomaly that there's two players like that and more likely they were made like that for dramatic effect. I'd love to see the video of him going from the ratings page to the player edit transaction page to verify they are legit and make me look dumb though!!Definitely bittersweet. Re: M'17 Biggest Draft Studs and Freaks
If these are legit player attributes from the draft, I'm just glad that there is the player edit ability to be able to drop some of these rookies down a bit.

I'll do that for you tomorrow. It's probably too late now, since I've played games, but I'll post anyway. If anything there are some game/coach boosts going on.Or someone has edited ratings.... This is why we said best to be posted from the scout screen or the immediate draft card, not the player card as it just sparks controversy...Or someone has edited ratings....
